Permafrost?

Hello all,
Does anyone have expirence with this strain, a buddy of mine gave me clone. He had some bud from the kind of plant and it tasted like a menthol cig, very cool and refreshing. and the plant smells like mint. is this a characteristic of this strain.

common strain around the NW. also see a lot of stuff called frost. most of it is pretty nice but been seeing some so so permafrost stuff lately

He said it was from cali, but i dont know where.. i just love the taste (i smoke menthols)and the high is a little more powerful than i like. hope its a goog yeilder

Permafrost

I grow the permafrost cut , in the PNW . I find it to be lemon / minty . Can be a heavy yeilder if vegged long enough . I love the growth pattern , just the right amount of stretch . And I've never seen so much frost on stems , you could do a bubble bag run with the stems of this plant ! .

I had the great pleasure of working with Permafrost in 91 or a bouts. It is as described and way to strong. Thinking about her I want to get paranoid. Anyway the mother was trainwreck from Humboldt and Ice Princess from Southern Oregon Area. It was an Lepp creation if I am not mistaken. This plant kicked ass in sea of green style of growing and makes tons of cuts from a few mothers.

I have to say I would tend to agree with Cranberry ^^ , Trainwreck as the mother seems more plausible in this case . Plant and bud structure , flavor and aroma . Lots of similarities there .

Then theres multiple cuts cause my buddy has Permafrost in CO i believe and its WW x NL.

The original Permafrost is a Trainwreck cross and it was made by Sportster.
There is a Trainwreck x White Widow and that's Crystal Locomotive.

JoeBean, do u remember how long the flower period was. My buddy said its a standard 8 week, but was wondering about your expierance with it. Seems to take longer than other clones i have to get roots but i have 4 more vegging now.

I take her about 60 days give or take , so 8 weeks is doable . I thought it was a vigorous rooter . grew a few inches in the dome .

Hello all, I'm at 7 weeks today with her. The trichs are all cloudy. No clear and a little amber. Going to let her go one more week.
