Not bad, considering that I didnt think this was gonna work. I just had to try an led grow, just because I was told by so many that I wouldnt get any bud. I like to see things, succeed or fail, first-hand.

Given the amount of leds you are running there, are you actually using less watts than a HPS would use to get similar yields?

Im not sure yet.I think the ideal thing to do would be to duplicate the experiment, but with pure hps, watt versus watt-hah- I believe you've inspired an experiment.I still have some blueberry beans. TBC- peace.

thanx 4 stopping in.The led vs hps grow will come after this upcoming grow-3 6 week vegged nightshades-barneys farm.Whats in there now just alot bigger and alot more.I'll keep everyone posted. peace

How about using Dutch masters liquid light. They say that it works wonders with florescents, i would be curious to see how l.e.d's would respond. Are the nutrient requirements different i would guess that less is needed. Great job.

I've never tried that stuff, have to look into it.With my 100 percent led grow I used half strength Botanicare bloom, and Open Sesame mid-way through bloom.Theres a theory that since the plant is using light more efficiently, the plant uses nutrients more efficiently. But who knows? Only time will tell. But in time, these lights are going to get better and better. Before I only grew with hps. After doing the led experiment, to prove or disprove them, they worked, I decided to see how the combination of hps/led would work. The plants in the most recent pics are only 34 days into flower-and I've never seen growth like this. peace

The best thing about these things is they give off so little heat do they not?

11) catman-these things run cool as a cucumber-warm to the touch-you could hold your hand on one all day.2) woody- I'd stick with sog and scrog for now-they just dont have the reach-yet.For right now these are perfect for smaller tents- and you can easily provide yourself with a very steady supply with 2 small tents. Of note-on my second run- unfortunately I wasnt in the position to document it- I added 130w 6500 k cfl and the growth shot through the roof-cfl's compliment these lights very well-with hps the results are phenomenal. peace
