Rubbermaid CFL Purple Chitral X Uzbeki Pure Indy Landrace Cross Grow Log

Sup yall!! The Title says it all. Im growing 5 Purple Chitral X Uzbeki pure indy landrace girls. The Purple Chitral is a landrace from afganistan. The Uzbeki is a landrace from Uzbekistan. The purple chitral was crossed with the Uzbekistan for increased resin production. One of them has uncharacteristicly skinny leaves for an indica. The rest have the nice fat leaves. 2 are slightly taller and much leafear. 2 others are shorter, stockier and have a much better bud to leaf ratio. The last is the almost sativaish looking. They are at day 18 of flower and the frostyness is absolutly increadible. It completely blows me away. This is definitly a keeper strain. The smell coming off of them is very fruity and citrusy. It smells like a citrus dish soap. They are in a local gardening stores organic potting soil mix with worm castings and dolomite lime mixed in. They are fed 2 tsp fox farm tiger bloom and 1 tsp mollasses per gallon of water every other watering. I will be upping to 3 tsp tigerbloom next watering. The box is made from 2 30 gallon rubbermaids flipped on eachother with 4 x 42 watt 3000k cfls. This box was built based on Lifeless plan.

I also growing 1 Blueberry X Cotton Candy female in a seperate rubbermaid. It is a 20 gallon rubbermaid with 4 27 watt warm white cfls.

Enjoy the pics. All of them but the last 4 are of the Purple Chitral X Uzbekis.

Just thought I would show you these girls parents:joint: It was some of the best smoke I have ever had. I can only hope mine wind up as gorgeous and purple as these. I'm not sure they will be quite as purple because the parents were grown in 70 degrees during lights ona nd lights off it got down in the low 60's to high 50's. However, this is a true purple plant so it will purple regardless...how much I dont know. SO ya....they are some amazing shit.

That's pretty it looks like my Thunder Goo in a way I've wondered if I have Uzbeki genetics in there somewhere cuz I have shots of other landraces from there and the bud structure is very similar don't you think??

Its possible. The buds do look somewhat simlilar. Your Thunder Goo bud is very frosty and sugary. How was the smoke? Taste? Smell? My Chitrals are starting to smell very citrusy.

23rd day of flower

23rd day of flower

Girls are doing great They continue to take shape and fill up. The pictures are not of the best quality...my cameral had one of its days where it decided to be a piece of shit and not take a decent picture for the life of it. 1st 3 pics are of the BB X CC and the rest are the chitrals. You cant tell in the pictures but two of the girls are starting to have some purpling going on!!!! Hopefully it will be apparent enough for next update to show on camera.

P.S. Does anyone know why For some damn reason I cant take a good picture for the life of me and other days every picture I take is amazing? I keep very still....it just seems some days my damn camera wont focus and it really pisses me off cuz there is no reason for it. I am definitly not a photographer so I have no clue. Anyone with photography knowledge who might know the problem plz lemme know so I can fix it.

The best pictures are going to be in natural light, with no flash. If not using flash, the lower the light is in the room, the longer you have to stay still though, so that can cause blur issues (which is different from focus issues). Some of those are obviously with flash. Flash makes for those dark shadows which obscure shapes of dark objects (like the plants). It also makes it look crappy for a number of other reasons.

Easiest way to get really nice photos is to get a cheap tripod. You can get one for $20 or less. Then turn off that flash. It doesn't have to be as bright with a tripod as long as you don't move the camera. Sometimes I set the timer on mine, push the button, and just get back and let the camera be totally still. You can get some decent pics in crappy light.

check out my Carbon scrubber album for some really low light pics. They aren't that great (lazy), but those are with only a ~60w light bulb above it, no flash. No post color adjustment (again lazy)

RE: Focus... You have to be a certain distance from the subject for the camera to focus. How far depends on the lens. If you are too close it will never focus. Also, sometimes the thing you want to be in focus is not in the middle of the frame. On most cameras you can aim at what you want to be in focus, push the button down a little till it focuses, then reaim the shot and press the button the rest of the way.

And most important is cheating!!!! Even Irfanview, a great freeware image editor, has auto adjust. If you have photoshop, all the better ;)

Whew, a little longer then I thought. Anyway... I've been watching the grow, as I'm starting a rubbermaid myself. Very nice job!

Thanks bro!!! That should help me alot. Maybe I am trying to get to close...I have it on macro setting, Ill try taking pictures a lil further way.

My camera and I finally got along They are really starting to take off and fill out...the biggest plants bud is about the size of a lighter and is rock hard. I just cant get over how frosty they are....I just get transfixed every time I look at em.
Enjoy the pics fellas.

P.S. I uploaded 4 of the best pics as bigger pics so you can really appreciate the finer details:joint:

Thx fellaz for the kind words=D. It sure as hell is a lot different from my first grow lol. Those took 12 weeks before they even got any frost at all LOL. Good genetics make a world of difference.

Love, Peace, and Chicken Grease

Sup fellaz and ladies. My girls are doing great. Pretty much same as last time. Buds are filling in and taking shape. They definitly have the classic indica look to em. Big bud cicle. Very Very Frosty...starting to resemble those sexy Purple CHitral pics I posted You can also see them starting to shade purplish. Its more apparent in person...the camera does not capture it to much.

Enjoy.
