All harvested today, 25.12.2008. I treated myself good this year, yes? :canabis:
Whole plant is Skunk Special, strings are occupied by AK-48.
Snapped in their 9th week into flower, well visited by fall.

Here's my workstation.Notice the carbon filter with a 24V fan, and the mirror for the kiff.

I haven't really had a decently dried sample yet, just 24hr quickfixes.
But even then, it's not harsh. Just lost it's flavour 'cos of the quick dry.
By experience, the AK is a heavy knock-out, been smoking it with hash fresh from the Dam this evening. Also smoked half of my own ball, it was harsh as hell. Dropped me out, though. I am so baked I'm having a hard time to type.
I'm looking forward to test the SS, it's...well, oily :D

congrats i just chopped my crop yesterday too i had a few different strains going including triple Og, Purple Kush,southern comfort and a few other ones

Ahh, the christmas holidays....6 episodes of Simpsons plus harvest= Kewl. :joint: I'll soon take photos of the buds, I'm only borrowing the camera though...
I gotta say I'm lucky I stacked up on glass jars. Got three big ones 3L and four smaller 1L (a quart, is it...)

Edit: Est1977, Seems we had a similar christmas. I wish I had more variety like you. Enjoy!

Dang that bong looks nasty in the photo, washed it since, the difference in taste is definite.The buds are good&dry, cure is on it's way....
I had a problem with the drying bit, everything dried too fast!
Harsh taste left in my buds is a biatch a gotta slap everyday now....
Maby the very last bud will be cured enough not 2 cough...

little tip: you should water your plants like and hour before takedown so there'll max amount of liquid in the plant-> slower drying and the taste will be smoother ;)

anyways that was a damn fine harvest man, enjoy!

I think the watering tip is worth a go in my current apartment since my weed dries too fast:yoinks: Thanks, Perakko! feels like it's too long till my next crop, though:puppydoge

Everything is AK-48 from Nirvana, exept the very first pic on the page, that is a lonesome SkunkSpecial. (Better smoke than the AK...:joint:)
