Hardly surprising considering cannabis first evolved in the mountains of Kazakhstan. Resin is the plant's sunscreen against UV light, and there is increased UV at altitude. Therefore plants at altitude would have increased resin production as a natural defense. Lovely garden, thanks for sharing.

Since 1981, broad-band measurements have been made at Jungfraujoch, Switzerland (3576 m above sea-level (a.s.l.)) and Innsbruck, Austria (577 m a.s.l.), where daily totals of erythemal effective irradiance, UVA irradiance and total irradiance have been compared. Under clear sky conditions, the observed increases in irradiance with altitude (altitude effect) of the daily totals of global irradiance are 8%±2% per 1000 m (total irradiance), 9%±2% per 1000 m (UVA irradiance) and 18%±2% per 1000 m (erythemal effective irradiance) during the summer.

Raising Some skirt...

FInally did some skirt raising... Need access to bottom to look around, for easy dump of compost tea (i only irrigate water)...

I found some monster stalks under there!

Used to have branches to the point of laying on the ground, which i thought may harbour disease if im pouring buckets of water onto lower branches... too wet... mould and mildew? no bother now (on first 5, hahaha)

First major top bend over, blue goo apex taken from 6.5 ft to 5 ft. (trellis height)

What (specifically) are your cages/trellises made out of?

..I need something meaty for my tomatoes this year, and what you have is what I'm looking for..

And, per always, ..

*edit* What I mean is, what product specifically? I seem to be able to find similar fencing, but with more narrow holes/channels/"grid".. Nothing with quite the spacing you're working with

K, fence section will have you off by one aisle at the depot. head over to the wood / concrete section... and ask for "Concrete Reinforcement fabric" its a large roll, 5 feet tall, will hold the largest ANY plant up no matter what... over lap two squares or you will not have a perfect circle. its 6 in holes, 10 gauge wire.

It is better / cheaper than the "texas tomato cages" you see for sale. If you need a lot of tomato cages... if you are only at 5-6ft circumference for tomato, you will get a shitload out of a roll... at 14-16 ft over here, a large (only size) roll got me like 9. They make a great support to go over a raised bed for a spring low greenhouse covered in plastic

Also great for keeping bigger animals away from small supple fruit tree sapling bark... Until peach tree gets bigger, grow beans on it as trellis (and nitrogen fix to boot).

Edit: itself in a circle with a slight overlap IS LOAD SUPPORTING ITSELF! it will hold up pumpkins and watermelons grown vertically...

and yes pumpkin and watermelon vines will support the weight of their fruit if they had to be burl and grow a dangling one from the get go. not if one is an on the ground vine and you pick it up. snap. vertical gets shit out of the way!

Green crack triplets, far left one seems to be slightly larger now!

By the way to do you see the sheer size of the leaf on the left plant, just slightly left of center mass... fucking HUGE!

White widow monster globe... so many bud sites on the outside of the globe on this one.

Flo that had a half high trellis because it was low. blew it away, needs another trellis
