About time for another update...

Here's the flower dresser holding down my 3 C99 girls. All the ladies are on day 19 of flowering right now.

First we have C99-1. She stretched the most out of all 3.

Next up is C99-2. The medium stretcher and is packing on the buds very nicely. So far I'm really liking her growth pattern. She sits on the back wall and has the least space between here and the light. There's a little heat and wind burn on those outer leaves.

Finally C99-3. She stretched the least. Just as pretty as the other two though, a bush for sure. A little heat burn on a few of her leaves as well.

Last one from the flowering cab. MY attempt at a group shot...

Off to do a little work on the veg cab. I'll probably be back with some more shots in a bit.

And as I wander over to the veg cab, I found this little 'bugger.' He must have been a descendant of the infestation of ladies bugs last fall during my last grow. I had a dozen or so in there before. He's the second I've found in the last week or so.

May I introduce, the winter miracle ladybug...

And two shots of the veg cab. I'm looking for some moms for the outdoor season. We have a 1 gallon and 4 gallon DWC going on here... Also some C99 moms on the left. C99-1 was camera shy...

Nice show man, I like how you try to maximize the space you got.

What are those dual sockets called that you have for your veg bulbs? I'm looking for those, are they available at a Home Depot or something? A socket/dual socket that directly plugs in is exactly what I need. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Hey rdy, I think I got the dual sockets over at walmart. I remember checking out the hardware stores and the de-pot and some others didn't have the dual sockets. Good old wally world had them for a buck a piece.

You can find the single plug in ones almost anywhere. Just check in the lighting section by the rest of sockets.

Another Thursday night update...

Just a quick shot of the veg cab with no moms in there. We have the following veggin' away:

C99-1
C99-2
BB
NH
PPP
NH x PPP

I just upped their nute strength as the pH is finally starting to level out in the reservoirs. She fluctuates between 5.2 and 6.2 and generally stays in the 5.6 range...

You can see a little pH spotting on one of the BB's. 3rd row from the front, right in the middle.

The flower cab is coming along wonderfully. I just changed my bulb and the difference is unbelievable. Hopefully they really start packing on the weight now. If I can hit 4 zips with these 3 plants in my half circle, I will be a happy camper. All the ladies are on day 25...

Here's C99-1. The stretchiest of the 3. She was the smallest when thrown into the flower room and caught up to the other two pretty well.

Here's C99-2. She was the intermediate stretcher. She might just be the most potent smelling so far, but they all smell like sweet fruit at this point. Not so much pineapple, but a definite tutti-fruiti tropical vibe is coming off of them. A bit of heat stress in the lower buds closest to the lights in the last pic...

Here's C99-3. The short stout girl with fat nuglets. I really like the looks of her, and am still waiting on my lone clone of her to pop some little roots. If I end up liking her a lot, I might have to reveg if I can't get this clone to root.

LOL.. one man's stealth is another man's obvious.. and don't take this seriously.. you're growing some nice plants, but have you ever bought a legit growing vessel of any sort? gotta love the ingenuity tho.. good job.

Maynard... No, I've never bought a legit growing vessel. I think a tent would be a little more suspicious in my situation, and I can't jusitfy paying for a tent that I could have more fun building myself and designing specifically for my situation and needs. Considering I grow, sleep, and work in a 9 x 9 room, I'm not too sure anything else would fit my needs...

Popping two extension cords out of the wall kills all the lights and fans and makes it pretty stealth in a heartbeat. Sorry you don't feel the same, but the only people I have to fool are grumpy landlords that want in and out in the minimum amount of time. The dressers sit behind a locked door 24/7 and I've had people in the room numerous times without any suspicion whatsoever.

Maybe you are just too observant!!!

Here we go. Almost at the end of week five. Here's day 34. Some shots of the flower cab first, then we'll get to the overcrowded veg cab...



C99-1. The stretcher, filling out pretty nicely. So far she is my least favorite. Still smelling delicious though...

C99-2. In a close race, so far she is my favorite of the three. Very fruity. She is really starting to pack on the weight. Nice spear tipped buds are forming. Unfortunately, she sits on the back wall where there is little space between the bulb and the wall. Some of her front buds are a bit f'ed..

C99-3. A close second. Frosty dense golf ball nugs all over this lady. Very little stretch and the densiest little nugglets all over.

So I've figured out my setup and have all their plants in the correct locations now.


First the CFL cab (aka veg cab)...

All my potential outdoor moms are getting ready to flower in here. They will be flipped tomorrow when they get a res change. There are 10 potential ladies under 138 watts of soft white CFL's. I've never really bothered looking at spectrum and always just buy whatever CFL happens to be on sale at the time...

In here we have:
2 x BB
3 x PPP
3 x NH
2 x NHxPPP

MOM/Clone Area

Here we have, as titled, the mom/clone area. C99 1-3 moms and clones of all the plants in the CFL cab. We also have C99-1 and C99-2 in a DWC tub: these girls will be flowered out after my current round with the C99 girls in the stealth dresser.

They are under 92 watts of soft white CFL.

The 250w stealth dresser...

She looks the same

Hey man I really enjoyed looking through your thread. I thought the first post was funny where you said "I am not showing the outside of my cab!" Then just down on the same screen here is a pic of the outside of the cab LOL! You mentioned Wallyduck wasn't he the duck from OG with the Ducksfoot strain? Is he still around? Nice to hear some familiar names. I really like your style of KISS and DIY a lot of my stuff is similar. Dont wanna preach but DIY hydro is really easy too and no dirt to deal with.. Trick IMHHHO is to find KISS nutes, for me that is a one-part organic. No mixing. One tbsp/g for bloom, half that for veg. So simple!! Anyways cheers, stay safe, K+ and this puffs for you!
