Looks like RAD & Limon got the 'ol switcharoo? swap them & it's exactly the spread I would have expected.
Limon has a lemondrop fuel funk you'd likely remember, RAD is more like a medicinal/kief. #'s + pics should sort it out. Lookin foward to next year!

let me explain how we handle the entry's and make sure theres no mix ups
I handle each entry as I open them
we take each entry from the pack, if theres more than one we handle them one at a time
this is when I take note of the details and assign the number to the entry
there taken and placed on a printed sheet with the entrant and entry name and taken to a seperate area
in your case the packs were taken still sealed with the names on them as you'll see from the pics
they are then photographed on the sheet, then we take one entry at a time still on the sheet to be opened and photographed
then they are taken seperately to be bagged still with the sheet and bagged into carefully labled bags to match each entry
what you have to remember is every one has different tastes and what you like someone else hates
same with judging weed, I acctually got to try all 3 of your strains which I might add were all superb
but I rated Pfrut above the Limon as I felt it was more on the Indica side for your entry's and Indica is my preference
so it appealed to me more than the Limon which I liked as well I acctually had rad lower than the other two
but as I said thats just my taste
hope this helps explain why what you think may be your best shot may be different from what others think
also congrats on the entry's personally I had your pfrut in my personal top 3 I tried

just an observation.....only 4 entries for grower indica? really? REALLY? most everybody on here grows indica dom plants and that's all that was entered.

Thanks OP for posting up the overall scores....you say this is 'for now'....so does this mean that you will be placing up the tallies to include the specific category scores for each.... (aroma, appearance, potency, etc) a bit later on due to this format issue you mention?
I find that information to be very important as it helps me as a breeder to get a better idea of things....for example, if one of my varieties scored high in potency, but scored low in taste then that helps me to determine how to improve that variety, as well as any others of those entered by DGS, from having seen how independent judges ranked each of those categories.

other peoples tastes are a funny thing, Chef... I almost didnt enter the "Bassoon" as I didnt really like what the 3 month+ cure had done to it...but what do I know eh?
Hey Reddy I would also have expected to have seen more Indi's but alas just the four... what I did notice is that the scoring shows them to be very popular with the judges too, with Goba's Chemdog scoring highest overall for any sample... maybe next year there'll be a few more

I am pretty sure that the number of judges differ in the different categorys. 4 for growers, 3 for breeders an only 2 for hash.
Bit confused,I remember it was marks out of 10 for 4 columns on the judging sheet(40 max points per entry!?) ....So out of how many points was my 132 points in the grower cup marked was it 132/160?=4 judges or 132/200?=5 judges etc...or do I have it All wrong totally...LOL?
Also out of how many points was Soma's 133 points for Lavender marked in the Breeders cup? 133/__?=_judges? Can anyone shed some light for me pls?

I have a question also, it says on the entry form " Sorry, NO Coffee Shops Allowed" so why was greenhouse and the dampkring an exception to this rule?? just wondering , thats all.

Bro i think coz GH and Dampkring have seed banks, thats why they can enter. They basically class as breeders.
very strange, for example, if there was 15 judges that gave your strain a 30 you would have a score of 450. the ? is how many judges were there

thats is very true jah, lol, but it dont hide the fact that they are still coffee shops, i thought that rule was there to stop coffee shops entering, i know what im trying to say but find it hard putting into words, but im sure you all know what im getting at also, dont even think it needs to be said so im not even going to bother m8. thanks for your reply jah, tc bro.
I thought the rule was saying "don't go to the coffeeshop and buy 30g to enter as yours.."... but now I think about it, that's kind of obvious, so maybe it's "no coffeeshops" at all as you say...
i guess a coffee shop that has a seed co too, can enter the breeders cat as a seed co. but what can't be done is a coffee shop saving 30 gs of the best cannabis they score in a year and trying to win our cup with it for advertising.
ok, so we ban any seed co. that is owned by a coffeeshop, i think not, any seed co. that enters is entitled to exploit the fact that they won a cup regardless of whether they are owned or not owned by a coffeeshop. any breeder could hold back 30gr of his best to enter. maybe a growers only cup is the solution or no cup at all, just a meet and smoke 420 party and no competition.
