$20,000 seeds

Hellllo

So I was reminded today of this seed shop i came across in my home city. The individual who owns it has created a stabilized tri-nodal strain, which is prety interesting. But here's the shocking part.. The seeds are $20,000 .. for TEN!! This blows my mind. Especially since they raised the price 10 grand since last time i looked... so obviously people are buying.

So my question is... why?

The theory is that you get 50% greater (3 nodes, 50% more than 2 nodes / bud sites) yield from every plant without changing anything else. I'd presume you'd buy them, make more seeds, and its off to the races??

What a dweeb! He charges 3 x more for Dutch Passion F2s that they do for F1s. Perhaps he is looking for that one special fool who will pay the 20grand.

God forbid you top the plant yourself. You may not get 3 nodes, but you aren't paying $19,900 more for questionable genetics.

10 seeds @ 3 nodes a piece => 30 main colas at most =/= $19,000 worth of gratification even in a years time.

I think it is absolutely rediculously crazy...
I can get dozens and dozens of budsites training plants properly...
Trifoliate plants don't yeild 50% more... after the nodes begin to alternate once sexual maturity has been reached, the determining factor would be nodal spacing, as with any other plant...
And that price for seeds speaks to the ethics of the individual running the site...

Ive had quite a number over the years....

and found that as soon as flowering starts and begin alternating nodes its impossible to tell the difference....

This is the newest way of making money in this day and age. As you can see by various crazy ebay auctions, web gimmicks, and scams, they charge that much under the assumption that there is at least 1 person crazy enough to pay, and all they need is 1 sucker. Hey that reminds me, ive got some seeds fathered from a male that was molested by michael jackson when it was just a seedling. $1,000,000 for 10 seeds.

i made some seeds that grew some 6- nodal strains and they got so big i built a tree house in 1 of them and i sold them for $100,000 for 3 seeds now i live in a place call fantasy land ,theres me, eddy sissor hands, jack from the bean stalk( well actually it was 1 of my seeds that grew tha big asss stalk that jack climbed )and there is babe the blue OX pauls bunyuns
