One day turn over......

Changed it up a little this time. Added corrugated steel under the coco matting for air flow and a cold barrier. I'm in grow bags with B'cuzz coco mix, not excited about that, but the clones I got were established in coco already. I'm going to change the light cycle tomorrow. The plants range from 3" to 12". The strains are Purple Afghani and trainwreck. The trainwreck are the lanky ones.

The Nutes are SVA, SVB and flouralicous for now.

Thanks everyone, been out of town for a couple of days........I use open-ended 1/4" hose, that way nothing clogs on me. If something clogs, I won't be able to reach the plant and it will die, but if something dies there are plenty of other plants fighting for it's light. Basic survival!
420Kushmaster-I don't prune because after about a week of growth, there's no way to get in there without causing more damage than good.

I'll look for plumbing photos......
Thanks again..........

This time I'm using a coco mix, normally I use rock wool. I feed every 4 hours for 30 seconds during the day, no water at night. It really depends on the set up.....

hi mate....I notice you said you normally use rockool....
i had been trying to do a rockwool grow but couldnt get th hang of how wet is too wet or not wet enough and such...... iI do wamnt to suss it out though becaus those 3 inch cubes are just so versatile-not to mention cheap.....
so, when you are doing this normally, what type of rockwool do you use??? do you still use the bags and have the rockwool granulate/cellmaxcubes or do you use slabs?? If you knowall about slabs then id say we got someone for everything here now lol.... rowckwool growing is the one thing that we aint got much info about here....
The feed times you mention in your post up there^^^^^, are they for this coco mix?? or what you generally use with the rockwool grows?? Im hungry for rockwool knowledge lol.

Hey Nuggy-come on up, norcal is a lot of fun
Harry Gypsna-I use Grodan rock wool, I prefer the 6" cubes becuase they are as much as I need. The trick is to make sure you soak them really good at first. That feeding cycle works for rockwool too. The best way to tell if you need to water rockwool cubes is by weight. Pick it up, if it's heavy don't water. After a while you'll be able to tell. Rockwool holds a lot of water, so be careful not to over water. One more cool thing about rockwool is that the moisture is equal throughout the cube, mostly. Like a sponge, if you get one side of the sponge wet the rest of the sponge will suck the water towards it. I love rock wool, but it's non-recycleable.

if ya still want to play with coir try mixing 1 bag light warrior with 1 bag just coir and usin' some of the plant success granular on em... the feedings go down to 1x or 2x per day, but the yields go up and so does the quality IME.

just an idea, but what do i know?

:)
