Magical Mystery Freebies and g13xNYCD from seed

Howdy friends, I wanted to share some pics of the beans I sprouted (two Gypsy's Magical Mystery seeds and two G13xNYCD I got from seedBay. The freebies are looking really nice and already have a nice root system at 25 days from sprout. One of them has mutant leaves and purpling stems, it may be a keeper (first and second picture).

The G13xNYCD are the two smaller babies in the third and fourth pictures but they're about a week younger.

I've never grown from seed before and I'm not 100% sure how to identify any males. I think the freebies are showing female preflowers but I'm not really sure what I'm looking for. I attached a pic and would appreciate any feedback. I'll post some more pics as the grow progresses. :canabis:

Hey 900d, glad to see someone growin' out some of the g13xnycd... Usually I have found it difficult to determine the sex of a plant until at least the sixth or seventh internode... A seed grown plant must reach sexual maturity before it will show definate preflowers, often indicated by the internodes begining to alternate instead of pair...

I am eager to see the G13Diesel grown in hydro...
The buds I've grown in soil have gotten rave reviews ...

H3ad, I'm excited to see what they do in hydro as well. My fingers are crossed for a good momma.

Zepplindood, seeds were sprouted in a wet papertowel inside of a ziplock and sitting on top of a cable box for heat. Sprouts were then put into Rapid rooter plugs and put in dome onder 30 watts of floro. Once they the tap roots were through the plugs, the plugs were transferred to netcups with silica stone for use in my veg bubbler.

The freebies already have a pretty good root system and are getting ready to be moved under the HPS tonight, hopefully the G13 can go over by the end of next week. My plans is to take clones then flower the bigger plants and pray for all moms! :canabis:

that medium looks like dialhydro...Diatemaceous earth, ....like u said Hogh silica, ...Its cool stuff, made from the fossilised remains of crustaceabs....aint nature wonderful....leaving a world of stuff for us to grow our shit with, lol.

sounds like silica stone...

i didn't realize the chunks were that large...

interested to see if the accelerated growth claims will hold up for you. :yes:

That is cool looking medium. If it is Diatemaceous earth, and theres dust in it, you need to be sure and rinse it well and not breath any dust in, it is wicked stuff for the lungs. :chin: can't wait to see how it works out for you. Suess

What's up everybody..... back with some updated pics of my newest babies.



The two in front are G13xNYCD (compliments of gr3atful h3ad) and the back two are Gypsy's Mystery seeds. The Mystery seedlings are day 40 from sprout and the G-Diesel seedlings are 30. They all look pretty indica dominant but one of the Mystery seeds (back left in the above picture) is really squat and branchy with nice node spacing (I really hope she's a girl). I think the Mystery girls (I hope) are ready to go under the 600, then hopefully I can get a nice couple clones. If I were to put them under 12-12 under the 600, could I still take clones after a week or so? That might save me some time....

here's some macro's of the older seedlings, any of these possibly look like preflowers to you guys? more pics to come as time goes by.

I often take a cut or two a week to 10 days into 12/12... no problems so far, in fact sometimes they seem to root a little quicker.
I still don't see any preflowers, but they can't be far off:D.

see where the leaf stem and node come off the main stem, there's that tiny little leaf looking thing,, Thats where ya wanna keep your eye on:wink: you'll see a little round (bad boy) or little raindrop(good girl) shaped deali raising up from right behind there.
They're all lookin Very nice and healthy! Great job, & got my fingers crossed for ya to get the girls!! G13xNYCD sounds like the Bomb-Digity!!

What's up everybody..... back with some updates on the family.




Here's the two Magical Mystery babies at 59 days from seed. They just got a haircut to remove some nute burned lower growth. As soon as I moved them under the 600 (and changed to flower nutes), they started looking toasty on the leaf tips, I thought for a couple days that this was from the light being too hot but later I got my head out of my ass and realized that only the bottom growth was being effected. :pointlaug I lowered the nute strength and removed the damaged leaves.... all seems well now. One of them looks like it may be showing sex (it's like a week into to flowering).




Do either of those pics look like naything????

Here's some pics of my G13xNYCD babies that are ready to go to flowering...and man do they smell nice.







Let me know what you guys think about the preflowers.....peace.

yea...the more bushy MM now shows what look to be tiny white hairs. I'm pretty sure she's female. I'm going to take a couple clones off her and let her go all the way.

The G13Diesels are under two dual bulb, 2' floros with cool white bulbs from home depot. Seems to work fine for veg. They'll go under the 600 this weekend. Got some other good beans to get going...Dj shorts Blueberry, Serious Seeds A-47, Northern LightsxBig Bud, Skunk#1, Very berry suprise, and south African Durban Poisonxskunk#1. Muahahahahaaa....

What's up everybody, here's an update on the fam.
First, a group picture..


The two on the left are Magical Mystery beans which have been revealed as one of Sagarmartha's breeds. They are day 25 flower and looking nice. The two on the right are G13xNYCD and are not really showing sex yet (5 days flower).

Here's a couple budshots on one of the MM phenos, its the plant in the front left position and it appears more indica dominant.






Here's some pics of the other MM pheno. This pheno is really bushy with nice node spacing and the leaves are really skinny. They both smell nice.








More pics to be posted as they come availble.

Hi 900,
I picked up some of those NYCD x G13 seeds from seedbay myself and I'm looking forward to growin them out. Everything looks nice and healthy in your garden. I hope you get atleast one female from the two. I am looking forward to seeing them flower. Would you say those plants leaned toward sativa or indica?

That's also a nice group of strains you have in your arsenal. They should make for a fun Summer.
