What was Uzbek crossed with to make Taskenti and how can you tell it's a Uzbek pheno? I've grown Taskenti and i'm just about to pop some pure Uzbek..........Nice job by the way.

Great question, Im not sure what strain was crossed into the selected Uzbeki pheno,to make Taskenti, but it is a fruitier and sweeter smoke than the Uzbeki ....which is higher yielding more columnar form, and is a rich, smooth, thick smoke but not very fruity. When I started my Canna bio gen seeds thier were 6 girls, 4 were the Uzbek pheno....
Where did you come by the pure Uzbeki seeds?

Alaskind,
The Uzbeki was sent to me by breeder Pacific, she said it was a rare afghan. Would you like to test some, just made a fresh batch for testers?

The info that I got was that Taskenti is a strain that shows its Uzbekistanian hash plant heritage...definately a heavy indica from the northern Kush mountains....

Beautiful pictures. I wish I was running an indoor setup so I could grow mine. They just don't have the mold resistance to go into the late season when they mature where I love. Raco talked to kiki from cannabiogen who told him the tashkenti is a mix of three different strains obtained in uzbekistan and an nl then backcrossed an inbred. It is a 100% indica by the modern definition. The filial generation depends on when the seeds were purchased. Some are f4,f5,f6 on up. Some of the uzbek phenos that displayed more frequently in the earlier generation can be quite tall and long flowering into november at 35N or 11 weeks inside.

That looks very interesting. A true head stash cultivar and true hash making strain.
I almost ordered the taskenti last week but bailed because of mold.

What was the yeild of that little lady.

That is one fine looking plant, if it smells like goat piss maybe it is from Osama's secret garden. Any way one nice looking plant Enjoy, Good job thanks for sharing it with us. Still wish I could smell it though.

Kuh; the yield was around 100 grams....clean nutty lemon taste, as enjoyable as a good bubba kush flavor.
