SMOKU, I am SO SO SO SO sorry to hear about those feral pigs getting the whole crop. Like Filimango said, it's clear you have a grean thumb. Might I make a humble suggestion?

Next season, spread those numbers around a bit more, and avoid planting in rows, or anything close to them. Obviously I have no idea how those boars caught wind of your grow, but I do know that anything resembling a "row" sticks out like a sore thumb from above.

I scope out spots in the summer, to see how much light they get, does the water source dry out, and what kind of natural vegetation inhabits the area. Once I have found about 6 potential plots, I check up on them a few times throught the season. Does it look like anyone has been through the area? What does the vegetation look like later in the season? I usually make my last trip in the fall, to see what kind of backdrop my plants will be dealing with.

If everything is brushy and dries out by September, anything green is gonna stand right out. Often, you can plant seeds of 'local' plants, (they just aren't in your patch, yet) with your herb, not to obscure it from ground level, but to help it blend in above. You may find certain strains blend better than others, depending on the locale.

I figure if you have 10-15 plants per acre, distributed randomly, your odds of pulling the crop off are much better. Think about planting next to certain trees, too. Often, the spot will get a lot more sun than you'd expect (depending on direction) and it offers excellent protection against the 'eye in the sky'. A handsaw and some thoughtful limb-removal can go a long way.

Again, so sorry to hear the bad news! I feel for ya brah. I don't know why growing a plant is illegal but the fucking police STEALING the fruits of your labor is. Sucks, man. Take care, snd STAY SAFE. NEVER GO BACK THERE, and I'd think about deleting all the pictures from here and your HD, just in case some intrepid donut eater manages to put 2 and 2 together.
