Are Organics people more snobby than other Potheads ?

I don't have any stake in the whole organics vs. chems discussion. I could care less, since I use a combination of the two.

Why is it that I catch a certain vibe from some people whenever I read the organics forum ? As if they're members of a religious cult, with some of them bordering on the fanatical in their faith.

Is it just me ? I think not.

I wouldn't call them snobbs, I'd say more on the lines of passionate about their techniques. There is also a large cross-section of good folks here and your gonna get a larger variance or personalities, styles, preferences, etc. So your gonna come across the best and worst of both worlds along with everything in between.

Same difference between dirt vs. hydro,etc.,etc., just go with the flow and if worst comes to worst theres always the Ignore button!!!

Yeah, for sure. However, I don't want to give the impression that I was complaining or anything like that, there's lots of useful info in the organics section, and I read it from time to time. I just find the vibe there a bit funny, that's all.

I have to agree, however it's both organic AND refined users that seem to be a bit on the defensive side to their choices. IMO there is a time and a place for everything; ie. in our line of interest, there are MANY 'situations' that require different solutions.
I'm a proud 'binute deliverer'!.....(I need the word-maker-uppers approval now!)
Essentialy I prefer the ease of organics to pull the majority of the workload, however I accredit my voluptous yields and overall superior quality to refined nutes,...and great genetics, of course;)
I think folks just like to argue about the issue cuz there are SO many 'ins and outs', the facts are widely available, and blatently describe benefits to the many forms of nutrition.

Am I wrong?

yeah, we've drank the kool aid. I've seen the same attitude among chem growers. It's the same with the kush heads and the chem heads. My way, my pot is better than yours. But speaking only for myself as an organic grower, I'm not looking for mass amounts. i'm looking for tasty. plus it's how I was taught to veggie grow. It's what I know. blockheader, pops knows better but he needs amounts for his patients, not taste. So I forgive him. He's got an Old Fool pass. lol Like that matters. lol

Id like to answer that,but really,im above it,lol,jkn.Just kiddin,lol.I use Organics and Refined Nutes sometimes,im only snobby 50% of the time,lol.I think no matter who uses what they have a chip on there shoulder as far as how good they think there own weed is,anytime i smoke someones bud they always say its the best and if they give you a tip or you them,its like,i like they way i do it,lol.I think its just the way growers are,i dont see it though(growers that think there better because what they feed there plants,ive seen it because where they live though,lmao).I grow Organic,but it rarely comes out in posts,i only mention it when asked what i use or when i start a thread i like too give some info on the grow,but i could care what anyone else uses.But if they say M Grow,i will ask them why? But grow with and what makes you the happiest .Peace and stay safe/ PVP :rasta:

Honestly, to me it seems like this organic shit is a fad. Its just the image that comes to mind.

You think organic and you think pure cleanliness sun made sweetness. Than you hear chemical and you think of the skull and cross bones.

Ive grown chem for years and love it. Ive had friends grow organic for years and i love it too.

The more I think about it, I just like GOOD HERB. I couldnt give a shit about how its grown, as long as its grown well.

Nobody should be surprised that people with different techniques in the same field would have a competetive nature like any endeavor.

Pot Does come out much better. It costs more to grow OMRI listed, that is part of it. It is a committment to a different, sometimes ethically-based lifestyle, for some. That is prob. what you are picking up on.

I GUARNTEE that any of you organics people CANNOT even tell the difference between herb grown organically and herb grown chemically.... Its ALL in YOUR mind..

I take herb fed with GH and tell everyone its "organic". Nobody has ever even second guessed it...
