Moon Cycle Experiment..

I tried a little experiment to see how much the cycle of the moon affects indoor growing. I know theres a great benefit in planting an outdoor garden by the moon but have had people tell me that it doesnt matter when you are indoors so I did an experiment with cloning during the light and dark of the moon... It really made a huge difference in the clones taken during the dark of the moon (last 2 quarters) took forever to root and many more just didnt make it in comparison to the ones taken during the light of the moon. The ones I took during the light of the moon rooted quickly and 100% success rate and really vigorous. Light of the moon is for planting seeds, taking cuttings, flowering and the dark of the moon is for harvesting.
Try it and see if you dont have better results.

hey amber ive been growing by the moon for twenty years.
not just weed ,vegetables and soft fruit.
I know it works.runner bean exsperiment i planted 200 beans with the eye of the been facing north and 200 facing south .22% more yield from those facing north.go figure!
itsalso pretty obvious in my nutrient tank diary, moon phases at the top of each page .more water up take as opposed to nutrient especially 3 days up to the full moon more nutrient uptake 3 days prior to new moon.
create a strong magnetic field around a flood and drain nutrient tank heavier vegitative growth more nutrient uptake.during flowering the buds are more vibrant looking and noticably bigger.

Lunar gravity will still reach indoor plants. Water gets pulled around at the new moon and right after the full moon. This helps root growth even inside. I think you are right on planting in or outdoor cannabis anytime around the full moon.

I had these links saved from somewhere else on icmag. I think they are worth checking out:

Once you reach a full moon it starts to decline.. not a strong pull.. thats the dark of the moon. When the moon is growing to fullness is the light of the moon. First 2 quarters. I have been gardening by the moon phases for years as well and just tried a "dark of the moon" experiment to reinforce my "old school" ideas. Everything on the planet flows with the cycle of the moon.

I'm not denying that validities of these statements, but don't you think your bias towards it working could have effected your results? How controlled was the experiment? Same mother, same sized clones, same rooting medium, same gel, same environmentals, same lights, same everything? For the sake of science and to have an indisputable declaration of fact, proving to your peers, with statistics will help. The reason I've made these suggestions and ask all of these critical questions, is to benefit you in presenting this information to others without the ability to refute.

Thank you for your report. I have noticed the deff in my clones as well. also it effects harvesting. as in resin and smell.

I'm kinda new to this whole pot thing, and I'm not sure how much of a role that the moon plays on land plants. But At one time I was a saltwater Fishtank owner for several years. I had a small coral reef going in my room. (It's Shockingly close to growing in a hydro set up, just more Chems and you get fish.) I know for the Coral that the moon plays a HUGE role in what they do. If you don't have a "Moon Cycle" alot of the corals and whatnot won't do good. Don't know how much this helps anyone here, but let it be known that the moon does play a big role in some growing things, anyway.
