i just started using the dm gold. what do you guys run your ph at? i printed out a feeding schedule from dm website and they said to run 5.5-5.8. i used to use gh 3 part and ran it at 5.8-6.2
just picked up some DM gold for a buddy been using the conni for a while

they recommend that you do not use any, but i think thats crazy.
i want to reduce the base nutrient and add another bloom stimulator, any protests or advice?

I checked PPM. I'm running about 1150 at the start of flower. Then 1300 and on to 1600 at peak. All these figures include the Pure Flowers at about 1ml. per gallon, which is exactly what the manuf. recommends. Thats where I started, it worked well, so why change. I suspect overuse by just a little would be disasterous, it's HIGHLY concentrated.
I'm growing in 3gal. bags of Promix with some extra perlite (25%) and a pinch of lime. I keep the Ph of my solution around 6.3 to 6.4. Seems high, I know. But the run off is around 5.7 to 5.8. I also feed with every watering.
I think the medium should be holding at 5.8 to 6.0. Don't know if thats the proper procedure to balance medium Ph, but it seems to be working very well.
All this is in a Northern Farmer style stadium. If you're not familiar with his work, I suggest you check it out. Very efficient use of space! I dont have a link handy, but his thread is on icmag as well as other forums.

I'm a huge fan of the Liquid Light, as you see it working. Such a trip. With the penetrator of course. I too saw theres a new gold version and my grow store says its on back order, they are waiting on it too. Can you use their nutes in soil?

Stoney: Yes, I use the Pure Flowers at every feed. The first feed, right at the flip, I use about 20% less. I've played around with different amounts, but found the 1ml. to the gallon works best for me.

Sounds like pure flowers is the only booster people are use.....is anyone else using anything different? I've never even seen pure flowers, I guess I could special order it. I just started GOLD. I am in the second week of flowering. The first night of application I noticed a nice growth. so far so good. I feel a booster would be a good thing.

how mutch h202 do u add to a 70 gal res and u just put it in flood and change res and keep me posted on the results I'm doing a side by side test with tri flex and D M GOLD and i love the gold best stuff ever used in veg
To clean out my system on the flush, I'll use upwards 10ml/gallon, but I would probably just do 500ml/50-75gallons. That is a LOT! But it oxidizes the roots on the flush so I think even though my flush is 0ppm, the oxidizer tends to activate some of the salts and plants seem to grow like crazy. Just an observation. I know that h2o2 is said to reduce the effiacy of ferts, but I believe that o2 from an airstone would technically do the same thing.. I'm not a chemist at all, but I have performed my own "experiments" and find h2o2 to be very "beneficial" to straight hydro solution.

Anyone running LL w.o penetrator? I am now as I didn't know it was required. I order it so should have this week but curious if im wasting my time w/o penetrator?
I've seen liquid light so some serious damage and even saw deformities on some strains, while others seem to respond very well. Liquid light makes the foliage so reflective, that leaves start to invert towards lower foliage. Very strange. I am the only one who sees this? Penetrator and zone are part of DM's flowering schedule, with gold AB. Foliars can only be applied before budsets begin to form. I'm not a big fan of foliars in bloom. I pretty much stop spraying my plants with anything after I flip to bloom.

I think that runnin the LL without penetrator is a waste.
we spray ours twice after being flipped into flower and they love it. give em a good feeding of nutes and a spray of some LL and penetrator and its on bud sites popping out of everywhere. any later than 2 weeks into flower seems like its probably not a great idea.just my

are you using 35% or 3%? i tried ordeirng hy-ox but the distributor told me that its discontinued. have you tried zone? seems pretty efficient if it works at 1ml/gal.
