Almost got everything dialed.....All I need in my eyes is CO2 and a few more nutrients wouldn't hurt, but for now I'm really rockin!!!
Grower info-Been growing for a few years now, finally getting all the fancy equipment I've always wanted. My grows aren't huge and I wish I could do more but this is for where I'm at. I've gone through a few different nutrient lines, Fox Farms, House and Garden, Canna, Botanicare, and they've all been decent. Started out doing LST and being really tidy, but now I just K.I.S.S. and it works. This is my first run with an automated ebb and flo and a real 2x4 tray and I'm stoked!
Nutrients-Used H&G in the past and I think it had some really awesome results, but this time instead of running cocos A and B I'll be following a bit of Sirsmokealot's feeding schedule and running Aqua Flakes. He is running drip to waste and I am doing ebb and flo recirculate, so well have to see how this works out. Also using Botanicares Sweet, silica blast, and cal mag +. Plant success was given at transplant in the medium. For bloom I will be using MOAB.
New equipment-My favorite new toy is my new PPM/PH meter! It does EC too but I am not really informed nor do I care at the moment what it is. I'm sure I'll learn one day and dial it later, but for now I'm just happy to finally see my PPM and PH digitally! Super easy to use, and I can mix my nutrients right in my room now instead of the kitchen. Got a RO machine from a buddy, only been used for a few months and looks good, filters are pretty clean. I used it today and its so much easier than going to the store for water, safer too I imagine. Last new item is an oscillating fan which is going to be great for strengthening my ladies!
Strains-The numbers could be wrong but out of 32 I have:
4-Blue Dreams
4-C99 (Supposedly My old cut!)
12-Cherry AK
1-Apothecary Chemdog
5-Aliendog
4-SSSDH
2-Larry Berry (The homie Spicolis cut!)
After transplant some didnt look so hot, but big shout out to my good buddy for hooking it up with the cuts! So now most look great, like 3 were from me cuz I only rooted 3/50 dude!!!! My buddy said the cuts I took were probably too wet and too humid, I checked out one of his domes and it was looking so awesome....Huge cuts and low humidity and they were very healthy.
So anyway its coming along, I may have to veg til like the 25th, I don't think I'll veg any longer unless I really have to. The girls have only had one feeding so far, and a couple are showing roots near the bottom so that's good but I know they need to dry out a bit to search and lengthen their root system. With so many strains I'm a bit worried about flowering times and how some may overgrow in the veg, but I will be topping a lot I'm sure. Ok I've babbled enough on with some shots of the new setup!
PPM of RO filtered water:
PPM of my veg water (was 650 for first watering, then I got my new meter):
PH of water before I lowered it:
After lowered:
Perfection! Muhahaha. Stay tuned!
