Will this Work??

Ok i have one plant right now thats in a clay pot with regular miracle-gro pottin soil

Here it is, Im not to sure how old it is 10 days maybe?

it seems like tis doin ok. my question is this

I have 2 one foot Floro lights hangin about 1 foot. above my plant.(these can get moved higher or lower) i also have 1 one footer that is flexable and movable to be any where from 1 inch - about 13 inchs away from the plant. i want to keep the plants kind of small and bushy. i planed on using a big green storage tub and fillin it with soil once the plant is ready for flowering. and i want to try to either LST the plant or do a SOG. and plant some more plants and what not.


So are my 3 lights doing to be able to provide enougth light for at least 1 plant if not more? to go from where it is now to harvest

How many watts are your one foot fluorescent's?

A foot is too far away from the plant. Drop that sucker down till your 1/2" from the leaves.

compact fluressents {cfl's} and fluros should be 1-4 inch above the plants top
to be honest if you get your self some compact fluressents
your plant will love it in the pic you see 45w=150w@2900 lumens each cfl's. the light fixture is a garage type with clamp had a alum reflector i removed, also you will notice screw in Y adaptor's for the fixtures this allows for 2 bulbs each fixture when needed. notice inside the cfl coil tin foil DUL SIDE out rolled and wedged between inside tip of coil and inside edge of ballast. this helps to intensify the lighting from the cfl,to help direct this light i use tin foil DUL SIDE out from edge of ballast { dont cover the ballast what so ever} to edge of coil wrap the bulb half way then hang @ 90 degree angel to plants tops. wanna intensify the lighting produced by the fluro ??? try this, use alum tape or tin foil dul side facing the bulb. take a peice almost the length of the bulb leave 1.5-2 inch open on each end of bulb so heat can escape. now yes tin foil hold's heat but the dull side with no wrinkels holds less and if ya have a small 3in fan blown across the bulb's and ballast's cfl's espically heat dosent have a chance to build up. here is a pic of my current lighting

prolly 20w kitchen type pic seems to have blue spectrum in it

Da Major's got it!!! Add a few more mixed spectrum spiral floros and you can do a decent grow. I really like LST myself. So, if you have only 1 plant that's the way to go. And be careful with ferts on your youngin......I've been hearing that MG soil is loaded up front. Hope ya get a girl.

LST for a real nice tutorial by Big_Buddha from og look in my gallery, it explains LST process very good wanna get wild an crazy combine LST with FIM both tutorials are in my gallery. my last grow i done LST and FIM @ 2wks of age on the plants and FIM again @ 4wks of age. harvested 2 girls that produced almost 8z of course i dont imagine each girl haven 11 gal of soil had anything to do with that lol along with LST and FIM

well i have one of the foot floros liek an inch away from the top of the plant. the other 2 are only 5.5 inches away( just messured them accually). So the one light that is an inch away has a flexable arm so i can move it as the plant grows to keep it 1.inch away.

im goin to try to get better lights but these sould do for now? and i do believe 2 are 20 w kitchen lights the other may be the same
