If I owned a hydro shop and had products that cost $130/quart, I'd be pushing that garbage too.anyone ever use bloombastic the guys from two different local grow shops keep trying to push this on me?
Expensive, yes. Garbage, no.
Maybe garbage was the wrong word; snake oil is what I should have said.

Bloombastic
Bloombastic is a high-quality cocktail of bio-minerals and bio-stimulators that is suitable for the last flowering and ripening phase (4-6 weeks). Bloombastic increases the sugar content of your crop and therefore the weight and the smell. By means of an explosion of sugar and flower production Bloombastic provides thick, dense, sweet-smelling flowers.
If you can't see past the snake oil sales pitch then I can only recommend reading a book on plant nutrition and the role of the essential elements. It'll save you a lot of money in the long run.Composition:
Potassium Phosphate, Potassium Hydroxide, Phosphoric Acid, Iron EDTA, Phosphorus Penta oxide, Clay mineral.

Have you used Bloombastic? Most people that criticize a product, actually have experience using it. If you have not tried it , then shut the fuck up, because you are talking out of your ass.
How many botanists are using Boombastic? Got any peer-reviewed journals on this product from a university?Chances are I have read just as many books on marijuana botany, probably more.
How old are we here? Why is this so personal for you? Growing healthy, resinous plants isn't a magic act. Anything of substantial value to your plant can be found on the Guaranteed Analysis and when you compare this $130/quart product to any other 'blossom booster', you'll quickly see that it's all sizzle.

No boombastic needed:
So have you used Bloombastic, or are you just spouting off again? I like to hear from folks who have actual experience with products, before they make a comment.
The 'topic at hand' is not just boombastic but every expensive, unneeded additive on the market. Just like Boombastic, these products are aimed at newbs with more money than brains. Boombastic has an NPK ratio of 0-1-1 I believe which could help depending on the ratios of your base. BUT, any other product out there with a similar mineral makeup will perform very closely at a fraction of the cost. Should you even need a bloom booster to begin with, the question you should then ask yourself is; 'why aren't I getting better ratios out of my base nutrients?'It's cool if you have never tried it, that just means your opinion is fairly worthless. Thanks for the link though. People like you are great at linking shit, but when it comes down to the actual topic at hand, have no REAL experience for themselves. It's annoying.
Just out of curiosity, what is the EC contribution of 1ml of this product to a gallon of RO water? You can use ppm if you'd like as long as you know the scale you're on.If you had any REAL experience, you would know that BB is applied in very small amounts, making it last a long time.
News flash: you're not getting 2# per light because you use this product.I have been growing for awhile now, and have done it pretty much any way one can. Bloombastic with the H3ad formula works good enough for me. Don't need a peer-reviewed journal, when I'm pulling 2#s per 1k, of frost covered nugs.
I now use DynaGro (which my local store needs to special order for me) but before I could see past the hydro store sales-pitch, I used GH, Botanicare and every type of additive under the sun. I now pull 18-21 ounces per 600 watter in my hydro tables (strain-dependent of course) and it costs me $14 in plant food to do so. It costs me half of that in my promix dirt pots. I use a base, an RO water add-back and a silica additive. I live for side-by-side tests and above all, I'm honest with myself about the true performance of a product.Furthermore, you will be hard pressed to find a less expensive nutrient profile, than mine.
What nutes do you actually use?
Nice plants. Pretty frosty.

What nutes do you actually use? I was using GH then switched to the cheaper Jungle Juice. 6ml micro, 9ml bloom, Cal Mag as needed (usually strain specific), and 2ml per gallon of Bloombastic towards the end of flower. Basically the H3ad formula with a little tweaking here and there. Low PPMs, low cost.
Can't argue with results.

I've been at this for almost 11 years. I've used enough of these types of products to now know a scam when I see one. Colorful bottles, quasi-scientific claims, I 'lived and learned' I guess.
