1st LGA Cannabis Cup 2007

This weekend gone saw the 1st ever LGA Cannabis cup take place at a secret location in the u.k! This event was kindly sponsored by Growdoc seeds and sagarmatha seeds amsterdam, many thx to those guys for supplying prizes and goody bags on the day!! And many thx to Maxlumens from suburban seeds for supplying the venue!! And it was good to see Growdoc who had flown over for the event and also BeAn who had driven up.

There were 6 entries on the day:
Strawberry deisel by Maxlumens
Uk cheese by shanobi
Afgani hindu kush by Docleaf
Newstrain by Growdoc
Saxon axe by Maxlumens
Bubbledust mystry entry.

All entries were judged blind on many things and here are the winners!

1st Uk cheese by Shanobi
2nd Strawberry deisel by Maxlumens(suburban seeds)
3rd Newstrain by Growdoc
4th Afgani hindu kush by Docleaf

Well done to the winners! all the entries were top class, a very good effort by all involved! The day was one to remember for sure, with new friends meet and plenty of good buds smoked on the day.
Once again well done to all involved and here's to bigger and better cups in the future. forward ever, backward never!!!

We only managed to snap a few photos because we got so stoned smoking on the samples... still baked now,, I n I must be getting old... lol

Yeah, big-up n shout out to the sponsors, organisers and breeders...was an awesome get-together, thanks for making it happen. Massive respect to the owner of the secret location, for putting me up over night and supplying much needed caffiene to get moving in the morning!!

Was wicked to meet some hella cool people, to chill n talk herb with peeps that love the plant...Cheese BHO, killer!!

Awesome event for sure guys !!! That's a great idea
I've done a cup with some friends in france few months ago, 20 strains, but more classic strains and no elite... Hard to judge on just one week end !
1st : Kali Mist
2nd : i can't remember ^^
3rd : C99

We're gonna have a new cup in may, with a lot more incredible strains and people ! Despite prohibition, we can still have fun !

Sounds like a good time was had by all,and thanks,bro,for representing Reservoir's beans so well.
Big Congrats to Sensi (for Cheese? I didn't know Sensi did a Cheese,zoiks,lol!) and to GrowDoc,as well!

Dalek,if you want to try any of the other Reservoir releases,let me know,(name 'em,here) ....am sure we can get you something exciting to muck about with. :smile:

As far as I know, and I may be wrong here, but the UK cheese is actually a particular isolated pheno of Sensi Skunk - I think?

yep your right there waydee, cheese is infact a rogue pheno of skunk#1 which was isolated by growers whilst growing sk#1 and carried on in the form or the uk elite clone!!
So there you go peeps hope ya can sleep now!!!!

Hi titoon29,

Each sample was scored from 1 -10 over the following categories:

Appearance;
Condition;
Scent;
Quality;
Cure;
Taste;
Smokeability;
Effect;
Satisfaction;
Overall.

The scores from each category were totalled at the end of the day to produce a final score. The resulting scores were out of a possible 700 points.

Shinobi/Cheese took first place with 543points.


Much respect to Growdoc for helping to tally these final scores
