BlueBubble male

I kinda wanted to document the use of this Bluebubble male. So all who may reap the rewards down the line can research and see who the daddy was and what he was all about.
He is the product of a sickly sweet blueberry mom. She flowers very fast and is very environmentally sensative. But the finished buds are so addictive she has been kept for years. Father of the Bluebubble was the Sour bubble bx2 male used, named *arnold* back in '05' He was identified by BOG as the muscleman pheno.
I'm hoping to use this male to backcross to the female blueberry and also make seeds with alot of clone only strains that we have access to. Once we get those in and cured they will be shared for free as testers and gifts.
It's been rare for a male to pop up from seeds round these parts. So when I find a great looking male I gotta give him a run and test the babies. I felt we had alot of luck with arnold so I cant imagine this little guy would dissapoint.
So I hope y'all interested, wish me luck and maybe we can find some diamonds in these roughians. I'll get some pics up shortly of the mom, dad and the bluebubble stud.

Daddy was quick to show sex, had a hollow stem and smelled skunky and had a massive trunk. Majority of his seeds were sour bub dominant and very uniform. he produced copious amounts of pollen.

Any chance your going to release some tester beans? i'd love to try them! and either way, nice plants! gunna have to keep track of your breeding!

I really think this is a handsome plant. @ 5 days in the 12/12.

ahhhh i remember arnold. i still got that one bean of bertha x arnold. hoping to get that monster outside next year. beautiful cross and glad to see you around :)

very nice strong indica with overlaping leaves dose she have a nice tight against herself structure ?? looks like if started flower at 1 ft she would finish between 24-30 inch. very nice indeed kudos duder

unfortunately I found a female pistil emerging from this bluebubble male. I think I need to cull it before using the pollen. Anyone with experience with this please chime in. JLP if your out there could you give some insight? Are my initial instincts correct? Cull or test thats the question. I hate to waste time and energy.
In all fairness, the plant has been thru some stress. Still looking handsome but look.

well if you can get more Bluebubble males you should just cull it. why take a chance if you don't have to?

I could try the remaining seed, but my odds are kinda bad. I'm leaning towards a different male sired by arnold. Like from a different cross. I have a couple potential males vegging now. Will see soon enough. But for a male to make female pistil is bad for his progeny right? Chances are it will carry on I think. I'm actually trying to veer away from the herm tendencies of the blueberry mom. Looks like her hermaphy characteristics passed onto this male. I'm bummed. I'll let him go long as I can to see what becomes of him. But at this point I think hes toast. I dont wanna use a herm male for any kind of reproduction of kind seeds. Bad enough when the fem has the tendencies. I need a good strong pollen source. This males sire *arnold* was a mad spunker and had alot of pollen sacs. This new BB male is looking kinda lil in that dept thus far.

don't use it. the traits will pass on and end up in further plants and can pop up at anytime even when you think its gone trust me, made a bad decision to use a thai male long time ago with this. pretty much ruined the cross in later generations.

Well after observation of this male and watching it spew forth pollen. I had to collect some and utilize it on several females. The single pistil turned out to be nothing more than a stray hair or something cause i couldnt find it or anything resembling it. I'll use this pollen on all the different moms I can. Will see what kind of damage this lil bluebubble can do. Really dosed the digi mom . Dedicated a whole branch of that one since its the mother of this male plant.
Everywhere i dusted the pollen it made seeds. Also some seeds where I didnt dust.. lol Its some wild stuff. Fun to be a closet hack tho..

So, to update somewhat. I started 2 seeds from the blowfish, 2 from the chaos and 2 from the blueberry. Turns out 2 blueberry's were both male and culled. But they looked fantastic and really leaned toward the blueberry mom. Even had the sam smell when the stems were rubbed. The blowfish seedlings were real nice. One was just like the blueberry mom and the other was just like the blowfish. Both had alot of fruitiness and the high was strong and couchy. The chaos seemed ok. One pheno was donkey dick and had a salmon creek bigbud flavorish? iono but the other was just like the chaos mum. Even smelled like purple wine. No hermies that I could find. But I also had a friend start 10 of the blueberry x bluebubble and he got 9 males and 1 female. Her structure resembles a sour bubble but the flavor of the dense as rocks buds is fruity. Woot, just what I was looking for. It doesn't seem to be a great yielder but the buds I sampled were real nice. No pics for now but I'll work on it.
