and now the usual shit buds show. i'm getting tired of this... i guess by now you are too!

#1 - been smoking another clone... afgan hash, sweet, musky with some citrus in the back. a little more narcotic than the mother (or at least this is my current impression). a nice smoke, but i think i will let her go. #3 is my fav smoke of these shit... tastier and more sativa.


#2 - as usual hard rock nugs. nice plant but i got tired of the classic skunk incense-piss-citrus. i think she might be the last #2 i do...

last but not least, since i always talk about Shit a little thought for you... made with alcool extraction (ethilic alcool 95%). i have bought some better tools for this process and the result is getting better. i'm loving it!

hey man, thanks a lot for the nice words and for following up! yeah, after some moths of dialing in, now i found the right way and i have the feeling the garden is going by itself... soon i will be mounting a 300W LED panel: this summer i will try non to die of heat... ciao!

yeah, time for an update.

...just a quick look on my super simple shelf-style veg area. i just moved the clones up. cfl bulbs are 32 W and the neon panel is 110 W. besides rooting clones in the dome, 2 bonsai mums (they look sad, they just got a heavy threatment, should get better soon) and some vegging clones. i have a reflector in front of the lower level (took it off for the pic) i still have to build a simple one for the upper cfl. this all works great for me. i flower 9 plants at once but with this system i have more plants ready at any time than i need...

gfxbb. 50 days flowering. this lady is entering the latter part of flowering. the odour has changed to an intense ripen melon (orange one) smell plus coffee. still some berries and citrus if you touch her expecially. quite big calixes and foxtailing. i really like this genetic, i'm looking forward to sample her! :-D

my accidental homemade cross shit x fela is interesting. delicate smells of mint and lemon... closer to the infamous nigerian sativa i grew ("fela") but with a lot more resin and better structure (that's the shit ;-)). i'm hoping for a more potent and spicier version of the fela. that would be nice. i have a cut of her, if it turns out nice i could cross with the 2 gfxbb males i have kept... it's fun to play around, you know... pics are from 2 days ago, 20 days flowering, looks she's gonna be quite fast...

ziel-zielona's moondog has stretched like crazy! i had to bend her. i placed her in a nice spot in the tent where she would take advantage of this simple training... i will update on this, but today she already rose her head towards the sun. also nice long wavy pistils... i must say very sativa in structure... unexpected but nice! reminds me of amnesia... looking forward also because i already sampled some end product and it was fucking outstanding! 12 days flowering...

now i see why i read so many nice reviews about psicodelicia. it's great! very nice structure, beautifull and already frosty at 16 days of flowering. smells of sweet blueberry candy...

hey K, dude, thanks a lot for dropping by! as you see, this thread ain't particularly hot so i haven't been updating for some time... my bad! and yes, you're welcome, there's plenty of space!
i am really glad i gave this strain a try. i am trying to better understand genetics, i thought i had to try skunk#1 for once. it wasn't what i expected, and finding some sativa leaning fruity/musky phenos was a nice surprise. right now i am smoking some #4 (i have flowered my mum), what i would describe as a "true skunk" pheno. after a while i get quite bored by the incensey/piss skunk taste... but it really is a vintage smoke. reminds me of the 90's when i was i my teens! #4 has also that cheesy background of some of the vitage skunk... it is not my cup of tea anymore, but right now i am enjoying it very much!

so i should update this hole with some fresh pics... they're coming! thanks for reading! Lib.

moondog by ziel-zielona (bluemoonshine x chemdawg DD) - 33 days - she's a chem pheno... chemical fruity bubblegum strawberry funk (a couple of light burn on the plant's side that faces the bulb... i had a cheap bad reflector, just bought the diamond)

psicodelicia - 29 days - smells of lemon and if you touch her also humus/curry... very nice!

my cross shitxfela - it is going more on the dad's side, but with a lot bigger and denser buds with more resin, courtesy of the shit... i don't know about this experiment, but if i like her i will cross her with a gfxbb male. 31 days

i am constantly running small batches of alcool extractions (every harvest's trim and i am harvesting approx. every 2 weeks...). i am getting better thanks to experience and the advices from my friend RulaTone, a master. so a couple of recent extraction... i don't know if i have to call it hash or oil or wax or whatever... first one (first photo only) with a very nice trim (trim and buds!), the second one (2nd and 3rd photo) was only trim but i think i have let the alcool evaporate better, letting the water boil for a while. i could see it bubble a little ad i was pinching the bubbles to let the alcool evaporate 100%. very nice taste and high, strong but motivational. i am really starting to think i wanna smoke resin i just have to get some equipment to consume these goods... bong, ti-pad, dabber... in Italy it is still very uncommon, so i mostly smoke it in a joint, old school...

hey people!
some harvest shots of my gfxbb lady: odours of ripen melon, olive oil, coffee and some citrus and berries in the background. 74 days, more or less what i expected, she looked ready. i hope her clones will take 7-10 days less, we'll see. as i see from the last pic, i was satisfied...

time for a coffee now, i love coffe and cookies... cannacookies! made with trims from various plants, already passed thru bags or alcool extraction... anyways they turned out great! i'll give you the recipe if you are interested... ;-)

hey fellows!
on summertime i am more lazy, i have more work, it's hot ad growing is more difficult, and i am not updating that much, so it goes!
i am still waiting for a led panel i have ordered, temps are getting really high. i know i should avoid growing with this much heat, but i just can't stop production! :-D maybe next year i will get some air conditioning system... but, you know, here electricity is expensive as hell!
but anyways, it looks like i am managing to have some decent weed for the near future. extra-ventilation and fewer plants (5 in 3,6 lt and 1 in 2,7 lt - with these pots i could fill my flowering tent with 8-9 plants) are helping. temps can reach 32-33°C (!).

i have harvested the first psicodelicia the other day, at 66 days of flowering; here she is after 3 days hanging... nice odours (hummus, and some lemony aroma and something i can't recognize) and nice resin texture. as usual, i'm looking forward to sample her!

the other psicodelicia has been flowering for about 35-40 days (need to check my notes...); she is less smelly, she is trifoliate, and she drinks a lot.

the buddha tahoe og kush is doing nice. compact hard nugs mostly on the main stem (which is really tick!). odours are really interesting: some pine/pine resin/pinesol with something opposite such as burnt gum or shit (ahah not joking) with a sweet back-note of some ricotta (italian fresh sweet cheese) cake. it's my first og and i'm quite excited. i only have 1 plant, so i think i will try this strain again in a future with a little selection. she's also been flowering for 35-40 days. i'll be more precise as soon as i check my notes. ;-)

and the majestic moondog! she's been flowering for 66 days and she will need a few more days/a week. tricomes are cloudy with few amber... most friends who grow this strain say it needs about 10 weeks - sounds logical. i didn't expect this much production with only 3,6 lt of medium. her main cola is huge. foxtailing in action (also for the heat) - i love foxtailed flowers and big calixes (like gfxbb) odours of chemical fruits like lemon or strawberry flavored paint, plus another odour, typical chem odour.

and i'll finish this update with a couple of pics of a cured gfxbb bud, and some words about the end product of my gfxbb (i'll be pasting what i already wrote in the chimera forum).
first of all, this is definetely a blueberry pheno. total blueberry smell. when you grind a flower, besides the blueberry odour, you can still smell olive oil and a little coffee (like in the latter part of flowering). but when you smoke it, the main aroma is indeed blueberry, super sweet and yet balsamic. dominates your mouth and tongue, a real blueberry candy. it's some potent ganja as well! the effect is more bodily than cerebral: a super relaxing effect for both body and mind. what i really like about the high is that i love to smoke this at any time: some strains that have a more relaxing/bodily effect are not ideal day-time smoke, but this is not the case! when you smoke this gfxbb during the day you have a very pleasant and strong relaxing effect that is able to even make you laugh, but it is never that narcotic effect i usually don't like to experience during the day and if i have stuff to do. you feel relaxed but motivated and happy. you feel softer and if you were angry or anxious... forget about it! if you smoke it at night it will make you sleep like a baby, and it's great as well!
so let me show you a nice resinous flower...

hey fellows, time to give you some more pics from my hole.

despite higher summer temps, things look good and smelly.
some days ago, i have harvested my beautiful moondog at 78 days of real flowering. she could have gone a week more maybe, but she was quite foxtailing with a disomogeneous ripening (thricome-wise), so i had to make the average and to me she looked ready enough.
nice smells of lemony/fruity paint. now, after 6 days drying, there's a lot of floreal balcamic smell... kinda rose. anyways, really nice production for only 3,6 lt of soil.


my homemade cross shit x nigerian sat ("fela") turned out interesting. very sativa like airy buds. lemony smells with a lot of a musky fuely tinge... i don't like so much the musky-fuely smell. but the high is interesting. quite mellow, relaxing, happy high. so i don't know if i am bringing this cross on... i like the high and the flowering speed (quite fast for a sat dom), but not so much the aromas. maybe crossing it with one of my gfxbb males would be interesting. y'know, i'm just playin' around... here's a cured bud:

psicodelicia #2 is finishing very nicely. quite nice production (she's in 3,6 lt as well), light floreal, weedy odours, not particularly pleasant... she's a lot sativa-ish and covered in resin... we'll see how she smokes! her sister turned out to be a lot more cheesy than i expected. a spiced cheese smoke, with some curry, hummus, pepper. i think the "unknown clone" used in the cross along with the nepali sativa, could well be a skunky clone... anyways, here's my psicodelicia #2:
