The female in my ufo tent is now getting 3000k from a 1 x 4 commercial troffer panel

I am now rotating the plant ~180*s daily

FYI, did a rez change in the ufo tent yesterday, and this morning in the SPYDR tent.

Back up to ~ 800, just to see if buds swell more

For sure they are filling in and getting sticker by the day

Most trics I've ever had.

At least some of this I think can be attributed to the SPYDR

I am using the clear 4 liter dome over the male to keep pollen in check

Hey Pet those buds are looking great. Those girls have nice big colas on them. Do you do anything other than changing the lighting to get them to fill in? I have a Sativa that has nice beautiful long pistilled buds but doesn't seem to want to fill out. The space between her nodes is bare stem and she has shown no sign of growth. She is only going into her 4th week of flowering and maybe its still early but Her buds in the nodes are nice however there's still no sign of growth between them and her main cola.
Heres a pic so you can see what I mean.



See what I mean about no growth on the stem area above the nodes. Is that because there was no off shoots nodal growth? Or is that a strain thing or was there something I could have done to prevent that? See how your girl has growth all along the main shoot all the way to the top of your main cola. This sativa has none of that. At her top she has a bud but it doesn't seem to be growing taller with growth filling it in.

Don't mind the chewed fan leaves my cat decided she needed to taste my girl before me(ungrateful bitch right).


So as you can see there seems to be lots of wasted space between each node. Was there something I could have don't to prevent that from happening?

Also, Your plants look great and i'm excited to see the final turnout! If those girls taste as good as they look your gonna be in for one hell of a treat!

Sats are all different

I've seen some exotic strains I would not waste my time growing

as they yield so little

That's why many prefer to breed with Indica

I will say if your lights are not tossing a fair amount of umols/joule then they will yield less

Also, many plants grow big-faster- fatter in hydro

The buds at the top of the branches are getting heavier than the branches ability to stay upright

Thinking to add another level to the cubes so I can use the bars to support the heavy colas

What took me so long? lol

Also, I decided to move the side bars up to better light the canopy

After adding another level of the cube (16.5") and adjusting the branches to be inside the cube I counted 16 long branches + plus a bunch of smaller ones

Light penetrates down to the bottom of the second cube= 33"

As the colas were now inside the cube, I slid the light bars closer together, and tilted the 2 outside bars to max the light inside the cube

First pistils appeared May 4th. So today is 37 day since first pistil

Since Shorty is christmas tree shaped (only one top cola) most of he is ~ 20'+ below the 600

Yesterday it occurred to me to place the 2 BML bars vertically on each side of her

Both are loaded with trics, but BMM is huge- tonnage v ozs

According to Med-Man, they finish fast.

Already have red pistils

Hoping he will provide input on when to bring them home

I usually begin a slow flush, reducing ppms by ~ 100 after each rez change, meaning: refill nutes are ~ 100ppms less. So, over the course of a week the plants get less ppms

Not sure it really does anything beneficial, except save a few pennies on nutes
