new 600w set up

yo guys just set up my new tent and light its a 600w hps & cooltube just need to connect carbon filter and tidy a few things i only have 1 plant under it at the moment witch is about 12 days since 12/12 prior to today it was under a 250 wish i had done more plants now could i still pull a decent yield from this plant its around 70cm high
the strain is cheese by vision seeds

Nice healthy looking plant! 600 W seems like way overkill for just the one though, you are just wasting most of that light.....if you wanted to just do 1 plant under the 600W, you should have gone for a 7-8 week veg with heavy topping and LST to get a massive bush going that would fill a 3x3'+ footprint.

12 days aint to late to do some training ... try and make everything spread a bit an even...its not like you don't have the room lol

Hey newgrower94,
One thing: Is your fan pulling the hot air directly form the tube ? or pushing it through the tube?
If it pulls it straight from the tube, that's going to be some hot air in your fan... don't let the hot air of a 600 go directly in your fan, it will shorten its life dramatically, escpecially if it's made out of plastic.
Pull/ Push are equally strong btw.
Other than that I must say I'm with Shiva Blaster here... you could also grow a bigger number of small plants and use less veg time overall. The thing is every tiny bit of floorspace you don't cover with plants- you're going to lose light...best would be one even carpet of plant matter below your 600w ( see SOG, or SCROG, both techniques will work fine.)

May I ask why you are using a cooltube ? Helps with heat issues, but if you can exhaust through a window o.s. don't worry about it and safe the app. 10% of light the colltube eats up for your plant(s).

hi guys yh the air is being pushed through the cool tube and out of the tent,the plant was vegged in a small tent with some autos so didn't have much room to grow as i didnt plan on getting the 600 until a friend offered me the tent and light at a low price,next time i will defiantly do more i did want to scrog but couldn't will the other plants in the small tent,still hoping for a couple of ounces

ohh yeh iv started a few other seeds going to do a short veg(what would be the least time you would veg for?) i was thinking a 2 week veg and put them in with this one so not wasting as much light
