first off, half the cuts i run are from homies in dhk circle so as far as bunk genetics hydro-soil, yeah fucking right!! :moon:
Then you're not using them correctly. Easy enough.

Try just using GH nutes.... without the additives. Better yet, ignore everyone's advice that's been using them for 10 years... you know better anyway.

Narrow, anyone?

Those are some of the worst plants I've ever grown. LOL

Thanks for bringing up how nasty my plants looked during the issues I had with the local water and the location that killed all my genetics.

Care to give me a nice papercut and rub lemon juice in it while you're at it? LOL

I know what I can grow and how it compares to other peoples stuff and everyone says the same thing I do... "That's the cleanest, most delicious tasting and smelling bud I've ever had."

Still want to find out what that grower in chatsworth is/was using... wow. Only grower that's made me want to up my game. LOL

So..... would you take my advice if I replaced all my pics with bunnies and kittens? :cathug:

Right now you..... are your worst enemy.

Stay Safe! :blowbubbles: :tiphat:

NOT MY WORK...THIS IS FROM AN EX-MEMBER AND ONE OF THE TOP 3 GROWERS I KNOW HANDS DOWN...

Nutrients:
floranova grow and bloom
powder koolboom at 35 days,,,,no measurements, just dump by eye.
budswell and fnova big bloom, back and forth, 1 then the other and so on.
all 3 foxfarm powders- sesame, cha ching, and that other one.
liquid karma gets used, like a booty call, when Ricky needs it.
i also use a host of other products, but not in any regimen, more like highlights when needed. This part is more of an art, and all art is open to interpretation.
these are:
hygrozyme
sucanet
molasses(i do use molasses towards mid-late flower, and half way through flush.
floranectar
sm90 (i add this maybe 4 times through out a crop. Just to keep things FRESH in there.) ive used sm90 forever. Its a must in trays, and recirc.
maxicrop
dynagrow protekt silica(this is also my PHup)

i plan on try some fulvic acids, as a ph down on next crop. Maybe not though.....nothing is broke.

best of luck

Earth Juice gave me my best tasting buds, and I grew in promix amended with guanos. I actually think the guanos were what really kicked up the taste. I started top dressing with guanos this last run, so I will see how it works in the coco.

I run gh 6/9 now, with protekt and sm90. I finally am starting to get my flushing times down right, and I am pretty confident this run is going to be up to par to my EJ runs in promix.

I use Floranova 10ml, with Floralicious 1ml, and Liquid Kool bloom half strength, with .5-.75g per gal. That is it. This is very simple and will produce massive flowers and incredible flavor. Also would like to point out that I do not use Cal/mag. Floranova has enough of these elements no supplementing necessary. I consistently produce some very potent and flavorful herb.
WHat most have said about nutrients being irrelevant I believe are true. You posed a q to someone earlier, have you tried the same cut from different growers ect. My answer is yes I have. In fact that is something I actively do. Giving the cut to someone else to determine the question of grower versus nute line.
The simple formulation I use has not failed and I am consistently given rave reviews about the meds produced. I honestly have seen the best cuts flowered by 2 different people using the same nutrients, different skill levels. Totally different experience consuming meds. If you know how to grow, you will do fine. Coco is different from many other media and this I have found was my initial challenge, watering schedule was my challenge. Really only took a few weeks to figure it out.
You will do a great job if you pay attention. don't stress the nutes, it is far less important than many think. Prime example is Res and H3ad both use one of the oldest and most generic "Chem" nutrients, GH. Would these guys do this if it created bland and mediocre meds... of course not.
Hope this helps

Thanks! great response !

I think Rez and He3d both were cash cropping though , no? They were looking for consistent results , with min input ..... If they were smoking it all to the dome , would they use the same recipe ??????? ALso in this game , lots only share to a small circle , if anyone . In this case how hard is it to be " King of fools" ??

been a lotta speculations and stuff around here, if you want quality AN is not the route you should go. Use house and garden the whole way through and make yourself an amended soil so u feed at half strength. good dirt + good food = good buds. good dirt + advanced nutrients = more yeild but less quality. Id much rather have 12 ozs of amazing herb than 16 of mediocre buds. ive turned down dozens of lbs from patients cause of advanced nutes, the buds will look amazing but 5 diff strains will have the same underlying chem flavor imparted from the nutes.

I've done that with amended pro-mix , I agree . Talking about coco . Not sure how teas would do while using coco as media.

Coco is a great medium for compost teas. go for it!
Canna for me with various amendments.
Very easy to dial in.

What I do to make cannabis taste super good is fill my reservoir with Kool Aid for the 2nd to last week, and then the last week just water with lemon slices. I get an extra %50 more turpines like this. I experimented with minty water and what not, but the lemons did the best. Works great in coco! I also use Gatorade "Recover" as a K booster in flowering.

Seriously though. What is more important, yield or quality? Coco is easy to get the yields in, but if you are serious about quality you might want to try going completely organic and doing it right. With the right strain you wont see a decrease in yield and your taste and quality will be through the roof.

To say "but aren't head and rez cashcroppers?" is a ridiculous question/statement when you said "yield is very important".

I dont use AN but I have smoked stuff grown with iguana juice and their 2 part and it is some of the tastiest pot I have ever tried. I think the problem with advanced is all the additives and there fucked up feeding schedule that is far to strong/complicated, especially for new growers. I ran into a advanced rep in a shop the other day and was talking to him about this problem, nice knowledgable guy. Use less of it and you will have tastier product. All these nutrient companies are selling the same base salts just different ratios. keep it simple
