This is meant to be fun & enlightening & so far it's been exactly that,and more.
In Reservoir's Opinion,the AF community would be well-served by something that's not been done before.
That said,if it was up to me,(and it isn't,lol!) I'd have the AF guys run SSSDH into an AF line.
An "AF" haze would be pretty fucking cool,in my opinion.
It might not meet "AF criteria",I'm not sure.

I have a very large Sativa dominant AF (75-80 days from seed) but not 100% stable yet, still locking down phenos. that I could use later on for the SSSDH cross but I would be much more inclined to start the CHEM D IBL project first, to produce a more indoor AF type. That doesnt mean I cant do both bro, the space is available.

IMO blue streak is a solid auto for making hybrids, for my northern residence. I have not smoked any of the male pollen sacks streak has to offer, but the females have a frosty berry skunk thing going on.

I'm very interested in what I call the semi-autos. These won't flower @24 hrs, but will flower with any reduction in lighting. The only seed on the market that claims this as a trait is the iranian auto from the much maligned green fingered breeder guy. Several reports that this trait can be found in other seedlines, just not reliably.

IMHO this has all the benefits of autos and regs, namely you can clone it, and still harvest OD year round. Of course it won't work for the indoor folks who want to run 24 hr, but personally I don't see the af advantage indoors, a timer really isn't a complicated or expensive device...

So yeah rez, how 'bout some super weed that I can clone and mother away indoors 24/7, and set out to flower throughout the season? You know that sounds appealing, and it wouldn't even carry the stigma of a "true" AF so your breeder friends won't make fun of you....

Maybe masterlow would be better tho, as I think it was the base genetics of sour60. Instead of going sour bubble route, it would go sour diesel?

Glad I found this thread also. Now I got to go back and read from the start of the thread to catch up. Its exciting to see this all developing as of late. I've stated before that I also have some auto projects started and in the works. If Rez don't mind i'll list a few up but if it is i'll start my own thread about some projects I have and also in mind. Ya'll take care 1

P.S. I really do have a lot of crosses started I just put things on the back burner so I can run strains like Rez's IBLs this year and a few others that are high up on my list. I just don't want people thinking i'm copying anything, thats all.

for sure. but right now the people using this stuff are still trailblazers. in ten years it'll be a lot easier to produce heavy yields of primo smoke with af's. and leds will be wayyyy cheaper eventually while improving spectrum all the while

Haven't heard back from MDanzig yet,but he's welcome to SSSDH M/F,Chemdog IBL and Sour D IBL,as well. The SSSDH S1s,imo,might be a good tool,too.

Been doing a lot more research of the CHEM D IBL, I noticed that there is a limited amount of stretch with CHEM D? Less then 1/2, Is this correct REZ?

This would be perfect for making the indoor AF version, there are 2 things we can select for, AF SOG type plants or we can try to make a larger version that has multiple branches.

Ive decided to start both lines, using CHEM D IBL males and females,and 2 different AF lines. When I can, I like to choose the AF females for the F1s when making a new AF hybrid, in my experience it gives a much better quality AF in the end. But for this project female phenos are what I really want to focus on so both will be done. CHEM Male x 1AF, 2 AF. Also, CHEM Female x 1AF, 2 AF.

1st AF is faster 65 days from seed and very resinious much more suited for indoors. 2nd is a very large AF with large Sativa dominant buds. I will make both F1s and test them for viability to proceed in the project. Increasing productive results this way.

Let me know when we can get started on this REZ.
