whats the best porduct to bring out the smell

Nope it's just the responce the plant has when it's under stress i.e. attack from bugs ect. So AN took advantage of this idea and used that in it's nute formula..Everyone knows that if you stress a plant you get more trichs lol peace out Headband707:tiphat:
Congratulations captain obvious thank you for that paragraph but you didnt answer my question.
again............. is budfactor x new?

I tell you what, I don't know if it was the huge swing in day/night temps, the change from soil to hempy or the 10 degree drop in drying temps but my last round was totally different. Both pheno's were damp and oily when drying but one of those pheno's was soaking wet for the first 4-5 days. I though someone had broken into my house and misted my freshly cut plants till they were soaking. I cut the plants down when they were in need of water so I ruled that out. I mean these plants were soaking wet for the first 4-5 days. It was an oily slightly sticky substance. Never seen anything like it. This strain has made me rethink a lot of my stance on nature vs nurture.

carboload, gurantee that after adding that to your plants the smell will intensify 10x within 1-2 days ;)

i grow in dwc and wouldnt grow without it

Carboload= dextrose. Carbs are sugars. Most flushing agents are merely 3 forms of sugars. The sugars loosen up salts in the medium and aid in flushing or the leaching of salts. Carbs also feed beneficial microorganisms, enzymes, etc. Molasses has both the carbs & enzymes. It doesn't sweeten buds, but it increases essential oils, which brings more of the true scent & flavor.

Let me ask you a question toohigh since most people here tells you every thing but what you ask them here lol always good to go to the experienced intelligent vets.

have you tried the budfactor x? I just looked it up and it sounds like a new product, not much info. What exactly are people experiencing with this when tested?

............................................
Brand New From Advanced

Advances Plant scientists spent years looking for powerful ingredients that make a big difference in your garden
They tested and discarded hundreds of substances until they founf the one they were looking for.

We aren't allowed to tell exactly what the factor is or how it works, but one things for sure, when you load bud factor X into your blooming plants, you'll happily witness what we call the bud factor.

Hopefully they will give us a better description soon, but
bud Factor X has been described to me as a super hyped up version of scorpion juice.

Usage- 2 ml per liter from weeks 1-6 of flower

/\ what the hell are they talking about?

oh by the way toohigh dont know if you remember me or not but you told me many years ago to spend the money on the voodoo juice and it worked better then any thing else out at the time you were with AN back then anyway have you did any testing on great white? I think it may be a bit cheaper and really dont want to hurt yield over here.

Hey all,

I can say that I was flowering out some Nirvana AK48's and I had 0 smell. None. I was amazed and relieved because I took a big chance in flippin to 12/12 without a scrubber. I couldn't believe that there wasn't any odor and just went on B.A.U. as I'm a noob.

Soon after my other O.G.A. strain *stinky Zombie Virus* began to stink at which time I did get odor control. Good thing. Anyway - The Ak's didn't smell and potency was lower.

No idea if it was the grow conditions - but I'll bet it was as I'm very green as in new ; not green thumb *yet*.

Peace.

years ago, when I recommended voodoo, it was really great product.
times have changed and many new myco's, trichaderma, innoculants have hit the market and are much less expensive. great white and oregonismxl are great. I used roots excelerator and would compare that more to vodoo without the need for carbs.
bud factor X is much like scorpion juice, and is supposed to aid in trich production. I never used it. don't plan on it. :tiphat:

Yea, Great White wasnt out back then its fairly new i think. I will try this out and see if it Stacks up against Voodoo.

if budfactor is simply a trich producer I may just continue to spray on the acids I swear its a cheap way to stack the tricks it look like there growing double heads sometimes. thanks too high

budfactor x = a no go now that we know what exactly it does.

I suggest a CMH in the ripening stage and added uv spectrum and perfection in the other areas of the grow no deficiency's or pests and leaving plants in total darkness in a semi dry pot for a couple of weeks,, And don't grow bagseed!

Yeah I'm still on the fence about bagseed.. I mean yes it's getting worse lol I agree with that . The chance of getting a hermie IMHO is too high and for that reason I would probably not plant the seed. BUT lol let us not forget that Chemdog was a bagseed !!! So there are the treasures to be found in bagseed you just have to know what to look for.. peace out Headband707:)

make your room the last week of flower really dry i mean 30 rh get the plants to stress and produce plenty of oils to protect itself, and lower temps to 60 daytime and you will have little watery dropelets of thc turn golden like honey :)

remember a lot of strains from the 30th parallel are plenty used to 10-20% humidity. to throw in a room with 40-50% may be stressful enough. equatorial strains thrive in 60-80% humidity. 40-50% being ideal. play with lowering dark temps to over 15F. and raise your lights at the end...

does roots excelerator have sugars in it. i hear great things about and think i might have to try it. im trying to concentrate on dailing my environment. i know certain products make a difference but its not the most important part of the equation. i have recently read that drying your bud at around 70 degrees with 50% humidity is ideal. drying at higher temps like i was in the summer probably was the cause of losing some of that natural smell of the bud. they used more desciptive words and explained it better but that was the jist of it. i was in the upper 70s low 80s and 65% humidty. i just couldnt get a handle on it. hopefully that helps.

Roots Excelurator has no carbs. it does grow roots like crazy though. I gave up on the stuff in my NFT system because I had roots running out the troughs into the res. I dry at 50-60%RH in a 60-70F. environment is most important to me.

you want the stank!? use bat guano extracts, and Trinity by Roots Organics. I grow diesel wrek, Durban Poison, kryptonity, casey jones, grape, afgooey, cali big bud, and trainwrek x silver haze. EVERY ONE smells from a block away when grown with these organic nutes. Give them a week or two flush and enjoy the smooth organic flavors and intense high from properly grown organic nuggets!

i have learned through trail and error that it is genetics above all else. find that money pheno and be patient in the mean time
