What's new

I love bagseed.

It's like a cool toy in a cereal box from back when you were a kid. I started my seed collection from collecting bag seeds over the years and I've grown about 14 plants so far from my collection. I admit I'm a novice grower so this thread may be screaming n00b. However, I kind of like that I don't know what kind of plant is going to come up when I pop them. For instance right now in my garden growing five bagseeds, I got two fast growing indicas, two sativas that look like works of art, and this crazy plant that's growing in a way I haven't seen before.

In my last grow, I had some wild sativa that looked a lot like Alaskan Thunderfuck. Even though it wasn't the best high I've had, it was the best weed I've ever smoked as the satisfaction of smoking what I grew made it so much better.

I will probably will step into growing from seed banks soon as I'd like to start playing exotic strains and playing with weed I've only heard of and haven't been able to try. However, they always say start with bagseed, and it's been a really rewarding experience.

Ya, I was fortunate my bagseed was from a bag of white widdow and ny diesel and a cross of the two....so it was a dozen free beans that were amazing genetics...aside from that I have seen plenty of grows of shwag seed/commercial seed that was only shitty bud cuz they grew it outdoors, unattended....sometimes it turns out to be a beautiful plant with slammin nugs when grown indoors...so I agree , never underestimate bagseed and it is better to start with free shit anyway. I had a ton of a great skunk cross but they all dried up and died when I made a stupid mistake when I 1st started...

There is a big thread around on here with people posting pictures of all the bag seed they have grown. Pretty impressive stuff.

Say Che, I tried to join the BSGA (hell yeah I'll rock that group :D) however it wouldn't let me join. Do you have to have a certain number of posts or some other requirement I don't have yet to join? Thank you.

bagseed is good to learn on, but having run it, i will never ever ever do it again, there just no point in running medicore plants when nirvanna or mandala has beans for fairly cheap that will blow the yeild n quality away . bagseed is generally shwag that u can grow well, still swaggy but yah u might find a few decent if not kick ass plants.
