Running a way in your dreams can be compered to a prisoner that is trying to break out by digging a hole in his cell,only to find himself in a different cell after all the effort.
u can gain lucidity by recognizing that u are dreaming wile in a dream:right before u go to bed or wile waking up in the middle of the night(better)imagine that u are in the exact dream scene and wile u are running tell yourself - 'this is a dream,im dreaming,the next time im dreaming ill know/remember that im dreaming'.
Any way now u are in a good shape for a chase in reality.;-)

dreams are a way that our subconscious minds to work out issues that stem in our everyday lives.... ok so running away isnt necessarily meaning that you are running from a threat; however it might be something that in every day life you wouldnt really think about, but your subconscious makes it a bigger issue than you actually make it out to be...
sky high was right in saying that it stems from anxiety usually.. but its up to you to determine whats causing all this anxiety.......
I have done a lot of dream interpretations, and what I would say is...deal with your anxieties, and I guarantee you dreams will not be as bad.....

you remember quite good with alota details ,imagine if dreams were easy to remember,you could make a movie
the effect of tv and game consoles and all that won't wear off just after a few weeks... if you have been gaming for years, your brain is habituated to that, and you are detoxing now.
shit, I remember when there used to be places in my city that had 20 pcs hooked up in a huge lan and you paid X amount of money and got to play from 11pm to 6am in a huge counter strike game.
by the time it was 6am and we went outside to get some breakfast, one still thought one was in the game as one walked around the 'real world'...

You ate before you went to sleep.
The food is trying to be digested so it causes your heart to pump, so your stomach can push blood and work through your intestines, and do all this while your body is supposed to be "resting".
This internal "war" going on causes nightmares when you sleep. I could have gotten deeper into it but there's no need. Don't eat before you go to bed.
Plus a few other things add to nightmares.....
Spicy food within 8 hours before you sleep
Caffine can stay in your system for 12 hours
If you already have a stressed out life. Stress adds BIG TIME to nightmares.

What are some of the craziest dreams you've had? scary, funny, weird anything, share them here....
The dreams that I hate the most are the ones I have to pee in the dream lol...... basically it gets so bad, it wakes me up so I CAN go to the bathroom lol.....or I hate the dreams where Im running from something/someone.....or those cheating dreams... hate those too

well when I woke up my hart was kinda hurting a bit.
well I don't drink Caffine at all. only thing I had for dinner was a small pizza and 2 beers at around 11:00 pm. then went to bed around 12:00.

Oh god. I hate the "I have to pee" dreams. The typical ones I have are nightmares involving someone stalking me, wounding me or killing me. I had a dream the other night about smoking. I quit smoking almost 2 years ago and now it gets to the fantasy stage? What gives on that? What I would like is to have a dream where I am tripping. Why can't I have one of those? After all the acid I took in my youth (and I took a lot of it - back when it was real potent stuff) and all the warnings about flashbacks, I'm still waiting for a freebie and I can't even get a dream about a freebie? Come on, God! What's up with that? How about just one great tripping dream or one great dream where I am stoned and have no headache and am having a good time and don't have to take a leak.

LOL I had waking battlefield 2 daymares. I would get out of the truck at the store in the morning before work and look for choppers to shoot down.
Never had a pee dream but i got something similar,
Few moons ago i was at a friend house to party with some good friends, we sparked a few doobies and open a few cans. That was all i could remember when i was sober, on to the dream. It was wild and wicked.
Somehow i was married to a gal that was very beautiful, she looks like a super model, if i could rate her i give 11/10. Anyway everything was just so perfect in the dream, shes a wife that any man could dream of.
All the sudden i woke up and found myself naked in a stranger's room. The best part that there was land whale that weight over 250 kilos laying next to me ....
Best dream i ever had
Worst reality i ever woke up to.

i had one last night where i was in prison and i escaped, and then i was in this terminator world trying to protect this chick i know who i think was the main focal point kind of like Alice in Wonderland. I was distracting the machines while she traveled, they where huge machines kind of like bulldozers but different, more like transformers. It was a pain in the ass trying to evade them, they injured me a few times but i got up and ran like hell. I don't remember too much more, other than i felt satisfied from what i had done when I woke up. One things for sure dreams are 100 times more entertaining than movies. *good times*

Sometimes I dream that I'm really fucked up.
It's always the kind of dream where you think you've woken up, but are still dreaming, so everything seems real...
Sometimes (in the dreams) I'll be laying on my bed but can't stay in one place, and feel like I'm falling/off balance, no matter which direction I lean, and end up falling all over the place (still in the dream, but thinking it's real) like off of the bed or face first into the sink/toilet/tub.
And sometimes I'll be driving, and just be completely out of control. Aware of it... but helpless.
Sometimes I'll be driving and either climb into the backseat or lay down or something, and nobody else takes the wheel, but at that point I'm too fucked up to do more than grab and yank it, almost always resulting in crashes, and more weird dreaming.
The worst I can remember right now was one where I stole a van -think bread truck- near my home, in a rural area, and after putting it in gear and driving for a few seconds, climbing into the back, being locked back there, and trying to reach the steering wheel through a small window.

I think the trippiest nightmare I had, I was in some foyer of a house... a nice house, and a friend of mine was there... but I got really mad & threw her into the mirror, chopping off her head.... and she kept talking!!!! TRIPPY...

well I had a dream recently (week ago) where I was having sex with a girl i went to school with (never thought me and her could have sex, really liked her, she was a nice girl)
