What kind of wattage are you after?

200w+ then you need to buy 'ecolights'

Hey thanks for links! At first I didn't want to buy it on-line but it seems like it's my only option. I am doing micro pc grow. Grow space there is around 40cm x 40 cm. I am growing just now one blue cheese plant. Later on I will switch to lowryder strain. I am looking to have 5k-10k lumen.

How many of 55W Flr tubes would I need? Would they fit into my pc case? Are they for veg or flowering?

It is hard to find hight wattage CFLs in the UK, unless you go to a grow shop and get an envirolite or similar.

Just so you know, 20 watt CFLs will work if you use enough of them, and this is probably the cheapest way to create a CFL grow light in the UK. Just buy lots of bulbs (2 for £1 at tesco, for example), and lots of light fittings. Mount them to a piece of wood, wire them in parallel, and you have a working grow light, ghetto style. :pimp3:

Flouro tubes are better, of course, but they are also more expensive.

I picked up 20x 11w cfls for £5. They are 650 lumens each but that's just too many to pop 10 into pc case. I was going to do 20w and probably end up with 5 but considering I can pick up 125w cfl online for £20...

Do you think electric wholesellers let you purchase like 1-5 lights? I know there are some in UK that wouldn't be problem for me to reach.

There is another option you could take, which I have seen done successfully in the past. You can get a small 70W hps light, like this one, and strip it down to fit inside the case.

It will take up less space than a CFL, and will give you the option of locating the ballast outside the case, which will help with heat. If I recall correctly, the 70w puts out about 6-7 thousand lumens.

That's good. I could just get it from the shop :yeahthatsdo you have any idea how much I would be spending per month for light like that?

It will vary a bit depending on how much you pay for electricity, but at an average UK price, it will only cost around £4 per month on a 12/12 schedule.
