Alright well after 5 months of hard work I finally have a moment to hang out for a little while n' fill you guys and gals in...

I started bringing everthing in about mid april....100-5kg blocks of coco, 100-30lb. bags of worm castings, 40-4 cuft. bag of big n chuncky perlite, 200 lbs. of powdered dolomite lime, 160lbs. blood meal, 150lbs. greensand, 300lbs. bonemeal, 150lbs. kelp meal, 50lbs. soil moist polymers, Tanaka one man auger, pick axes, shovels, clippers, loppers, tarps, sawsall with 6 fully charged batteries (n' a ton of blades).....after that i'venever been in better shape in my life...just gotta gain some weight back...lol

Then the real battle began...digging...on average my holes are 20 to 30 gallons...where i am at there is about 6-8" of root mass you have to get through to get to the good dirt...you can see the "man hole" covers in the pics...then comes the rocks...small, medium, large, XXL

Once the holes were dug it was time to fill em'...i use 4-20 gallon trash cans and one 32 gallon...i mix 15 gallons at a time and add all ingredients to the 20 gal and use the 32 gal to aid in the mixing process....(7.5 gal. coco, 4.5 gal. perlite, 3 gal. worm castings, 2 cups lime, 1 cup blood, 2 cups bone, 1 cup kelp, 1 cup greensand, 4 oz. Soil Moist)...i set up a new staging area at each patch and use 5 gallon measuring buckets (i do 2 at a time) to take the ingredients to the trash cans next to the holes....usually coco first, worm poo n' amendments, then the perlite...to hydrate the coco i lay down a tarp and stack up 16 blocks at time, 4 X 2(x2) then wrap em up like a present and put heavy rocks on top and fill with lots of water

Then the fun part....planting...then added native on top to cover the perlite...i pretagged everybody with some homemade plant tags...i take plain white tags punch a hole in the top, then cut them in half and discard the pointy side, then spray paint em black, and when they're dry i take a sturdy twist n attach it to the punched hole and they're ready...i use a fine point silver sharpie...can't see em at all

Strains---Apollo Mist, Biddy's Sister, Blue Moonshine, C99 X GF, C99 X C4, Chem Double D, Casey Jones, Deep Chunk X Chocolate Trip, Deep Chunk X Highland Nep, Early Pearl Skunk Haze, Early Skunk, F-13, Lemon Grass Thai X Deep Chunk, Lapis Mountain Indica, Maple Leaf Indica X P 13, Mango Haze X White Widow, Mazar, Old Time Moonshine, PowerHouse, Pommelo, Somango, Snowdog Kush, Super Skunk, SSH, Vanilluna, Willies, n' Willies's Haze

Your own assembly line. Quite an undertaking for 1 person. You will reap the benefits of that backbreaking labor. But........when it is harvest time, you could be overwhelmed. Not a bad thing, really. Your lineup is exotic. Did you make some of those crosses?

Staying tuned.

Adam and Eve had a perfect marriage....she never talked about her old boyfirends and he never mentioned his mother's cooking.

Yep it was "only" me...lol...as for harvest, i'm ready to rock, not my first time camping...nope, all genetics i am putting outside are clones from seeds purchased from sbay n sboo...this year is a tester year and i have anywhere from 1-4 phenos per strain out

thanks for stopping by LazLo and good luck on your endeavors this year, in or out

thanks ST1

Damn dude, you spent a grip on supplies! Thought I dropped some coin...a yard of ewc is like 200 bucks round here...

Hope everything works out for ya, so far so good. Are you living out there with them? What is your water source? Right on bro

fisher15...yep it was quite a bill but nothing in the long run...the ewc was 18 bucks a bag minus 15% off so whatever that comes out to...i could have bought it by the yard and saved a bunch but i would have had to bag it in order to carry it

not sleeping there right now...secure and secluded...not a drive up the road, pullover and run in spot.....rented a vacation home for a month to get everything hauled, dug, n filled and will do the same at harvest

water source is a creek that runs between plot1 and plots2 n 3....it flows all year round.....crystal clear 0 EC, 5,4ph...nice steady flow with little nooks and mini waterfalls for aeration

Good luck with your project too bro...i've peeked in a couple times the past few days...looking stellar

Wonderful.....I'll be pulling for you on this. Great work 3rd-I, thanks for the glimpse. Be well and I'll be checking in on this!

PS- Curious as to your specific method of preparing clones for transplant. What light cycle indoors and when is your target date for getting them out to prevent triggering? Always looking for new tips....thanks....

ROOTWISE...I started taking clones of some strains in february, one's i already had mom's of....I also started a bunch of seed plants at that time and started to clone them in mid march...had two machines (a 70 and 120)going for about 3 months...I kept the best clones for myself (they were all healthy though) and gave the rest to friends for their projects

When they come out of the cloner i put them in small square pots of plain atami coco with a little perlite...don't know what size pots they are but you can fit 32 in a flat n they are cheap for a box of 500...after a few weeks under 24/7 light I transplant them to the pots you see in the pics and switched them to off @ 10pm, on @ 4am...they were being feed RO w/ GH nutes @ 3ml micro and 4.5ml bloom with an ocassional 6/9 watering...throughout this time i was constantly topping the new growth weekly, i gently take a pair of scissors to the newest leaf set of a branch and push in the opposite direction and the leaf set will snap of cleanly (low stress topping?)...needed to keep them small as possible but as bushy as possible too...also they have to be able to fit in the boxes

I guess it was the last week in April i switched the lights to off @ 8pm, on @ 4am...my plan was to be done planting by may 15 but i didn't get done plot 1 til the 24th and those plants were brought up on the 19th, the day after the last frost :D...the rest were brought in on the 24th and plots 2 and 3 were finished by june 10th...no triggering

First watering was House n Garden rooter, GH 6ml 9ml, and some sub culture...ph'ed to 6.3........that's it for that though, just a little jump start...been raining ever since, 5" for june so far...but from now on it's guano n compost teas

Thanks for the detailed answer 3rd-I, always helpful to see what other folks are doing. I mainly run sexed seed starts but want some flexibility to use clones in the future...

Have fun out there and best of luck man-

Much respect, 3rd I

Your motivation is unending... Seeing all those bags of earthworm castings made me feel all funny inside- in a good way! Thought you were setting up an outdoor hydro shop for the season... Maybe, just MAYBE, I could have hauled that chunky perlite in to the patch, hehehe... Geez, who am I kidding, I couldn't have hauled all that with a mule team :yoinks:

You've got it together- clones yet, sure to kick ass- I hope you'll be able to manage a few pics of the DJ gear during peak veg- nice to see the different phenos...

Next year perhaps a cargo plane drop???

The 'I' stands for indefatigable clearly.

Luck and safety...
