Been busy and I am 5 pages behind. No time to catch up right now.

Sad day kinda. Just got a call from and old fishing buddy and he told me one of our other long time fishing buddies had passed from a heart attack yesterday.

I have fished all over Colo, Wyo, Montana, New Mexico with these two guys. So, my x partner at the dealership and now my buddy Ron have both passed this month......

Back to work will check back when things slow down.

Was on the phone with Dr. Scooter last night. He climbed all over me verbally regarding the mail-order weed thingy. He said if I wanted infected lungs, go right ahead and order some. It seemed to be a hotspot with him.

He added that tests show human-harmful pesticide is used also.

Scooter pointed out my developed method of extending use of each toke by a factor of between 2 and 3 times more efficient/effective than "normal" tokers has the unfortunate corollary that enhances and multiplies the exposure to the evils of pesticides and spores. <-- Sobering point.

Jeez.

I just realized: "Reefer Madness" might be a subtle documentary that is correct at bottom: Marihuana is poison. With weed killer and fungus.

Over the years, three super-kindhearted folks here had sent me presents at some considerable risk to themselves. I've tried to even the score somewhat from an old straight-arrow Boy Scout POV by sending presents back...

But I know I cannot possibly have the same effect. Weed keeps me from huddling in a corner, rocking back and forth, trying to find a place to hide... while the stuff from me only entertains you for a while reading or looking at artwork or whatever.
Around 2008 I asked my family doc if he would sign my gov't Access to Cannabis forms, he said he would think about it...this went on for 2 years every 5 or 6 months I would bring it up but he always put me off. I decided to write him a 2 page letter why he should sign those papers. The next time I had an office visit I brought up the letter. He said he would agree to to sign and the day I went into his office for the papers he told me, "this is a black Monday for me." He put on quite the show how hard done by he was. Each successive signing became easier and easier. Now I'm on my 3rd family doc and 2 & 3 have never complained at all.

I thought they radiated cannabis flowers, one member I speak with works at a big cannabis facility and I know they radiate their flowers before they go out the door.

There is danger everywhere in this life. My Mrs got a bad lung infection from digging in our garden.

Not trying to disuade you from listening to your son Unca Walt, wouldn't do that.

Hello Unca Walt:)

Whooee -- It rained fit to frighten Noah yestiddy. The air went grey with water, with visible folds in it. I have a big (2-ft across) watering dish outside for the squirrels and crows and creatchie-poos to drink and bathe. It was empty, and now it is infinity-pool full.
We have had lots of rain lately as well, not as heavy as you describe but a steady rain. It's kind of arid where I live, the rain is a good thing.

Have your peacocks ever had babies?

Good morning venerable brothers and sisters of the sacred herb! View attachment 19178034 View attachment 19178035

Cloudy with rain here, starting at 39F and predicted to reach 52F.

Dinner out at Salty's last night was fabulous except for the slow service............... Added new meaning to leisurely dining...

Gym first thing this morning but nothing else on the calendar besides getting the paperwork ready for tomorrows sleep study appointment.
Was the service slow because of being under staffed? Glad the meal was enjoyable. We talked about having one meal at Salty's this summer. Something we will do.

I was suppose to go for a sleep study but declined and also never went back to the specialist who prescribed it again.

Good Morning All (OF's):

A short jot cause I have too much on my plate today to say much else other than that.
Everyone have a good one (hopefully) and we will get through this start of the week.
No work this weekend for me so I got some additional and much needed rest too.
My projects got put on the back burner due to my back. Gotta get busy on those.
Weather is projected to be cooler for most of the week. That will be ok by me.:giggle:

Wishing each and every one of you, a pleasant morning, wonderful day, and outstanding evening.
I am currently pretty tied up with projects and work, so wanted to start with a daily check in hello.
Today's Monday: "Can't Trust That Day". And the work week begins. One day closer to a weekend!

See you all tomorrow (again)! (y):)
It sounds to me you need a permanent weekend, as you tend to look forward to them. Are you within sight of retirement or is that a sour word for you?

Hello cola:)

That's why you grow your own
I have seen people's lab reports from their cannabis flowers when getting them tested and even with diligent drying some flowers still had unwanted spores.
Even when growing your own you have to be very careful and willing to throw any moldy bud away.

But, I have to agree wholeheartedly, growing your own is the best option when you have that choice.

Good day OleReynard:)

Hello GW:)
The staff was professional and were moving when I saw them, so have to believe it had to do with staffing.

They were also running a crab fest and the $35 3-Course special, which may have added to volume.

The molds that grow on the cannabis plant while it is alive, such as Powdery Mildew and Botrytis, don't produce aflatoxins.

The ones that do are composting molds like Aspergillus, that grow on dead material, so your drying techniques are important.
