Hey big, I know you like some older music how about this one. I remember it on the radio and driving around with my friends older brother in his rag top ford.

Sea Cruise - oh yeah - best sung on a speedboat 🚤 - on a calm sunny day 😎 - with at least 500bhp of outboard motor - around islands in the Andaman Sea - stopping off for picnics - and snork'lin coral reefs -

"Get Rich" plays have always concerned me since watching the "Dot Bomb" market implosion from 2000-2002. I like safe and steady plays that I can hopefully stay in a year or more.
The Dot-Com market craziness of 2000-2002 got me involved without any slightest move on my part.

I needed to augment my retirement pay from IBM, so I got a job in a start-up outfit called Daleen Technologies, Inc.

The job pay was down near minimum wage (which was all I needed), but they "sweetened" the pot with Cal-Mag in the form of stock in the company for $1 per share.

I worked there for a year, and the stock shares added up until I saw DALN at $51. <-- I sold all my shares. This about a week before the water broke. No thought of anything but what I saw as a great return.

Buy: $1
Sold: $51

My ONLY dabble in the stock market, but it paid for two cars, the Chateau and acreage, and finally!! after only 45 years of marriage, my darling bride had an entire house to furnish with stuff we bought by going on a buying trip to the Carolina place.

I haven't touched, and do not own any stock since that day.

So it all ended - happily ever after - what a cheery tale to start the day with - but ya gotta be in it to win it - and have at least a little luck - in life - so many risks one could take - some choose the smooth path - and others go off road -

Got my car home today and it blew all the new coolant from the totally replaced cooling system all over the freshly pressure washed slab as soon as I put it in park.
😆
Called them and they are sending the towtruck hopefully get it done right by tomorrowish this time.
😕
Just got done dropping the truck off as well hope we don't need it back.
Oh dear. That one set me off. Sometime just after the gas embargo, I had a problem with my in-warranty car. The dealership removed the gas tank to fix something.

I drove it about two miles to a gas station, because it was obviously about empty. Filled it with gas, and went in to pay for it. A guy behind me says, "Is that your car? Yes? Well, it is leaking gas all over!"

I looked, and gas wasn't dripping -- it was pouring out. Thank God I'd turned the motor off. I called the dealership and between detailing death and torture threats, I got the idea across that there would be a tow truck within ten minutes or I would call the newspapers.

They made it. Two trucks. One ostensibly to clean up the gas station. The other carried a bomb (Me) and my car back to the dealership.

In my case, stone luck all the way. I see it thisaway: Had I bought Bitcoin at a dollar (and I could have, easily) I would absolutely have sold it at $51. <-- No question.

The parallel is amazing. By stone LUCK, I was on the $50 - to - $1 profit bus that was going to get run over by a train. Had I been on the $50 - to - $1 profit bus known as Bitcoin...

One way I look like a savvy investor. I know myself to have just accidentally won a coin flip.

I’ve never been to the the super secret sub forums

That makes me think we are chopped liver. Who knew we had to jump through hoops and perform extra to be invited to the premium side of things. I may just leave on account of that. Just like in real life we have two societies, one for spoiled premium people and the other for the plebs. I bought a domain and am working on securing forum services from XenForo. I often create my own spaces, jobs, and cash flows where the rules and design are more people friendly. One day I will have a forum with several hundred thousand active users. It will be sooner than you think.

Good morning brothers and sisters!

Cloudy today with rain, starting at 42F and predicted to reach 50F.

I have a doctors appointment with blood work at 09:30, so fasting. My least favorite part about doctors appointments to check on the results of my recent med changes.

Lunch out yesterday at the Partisan Cafe and disappointed at the changes in their sandwich menu, though the cherry pie was still good. Parking was also more difficult as well, after the city blocked off the adjacent street.

I finally heard back from the S. African brother seeking support, leaving me to believe it is legitimate so will proceed with sharing the secret handshakes with him. A decade ago helped a SA brother set up to manufacture the Mk III, but have never heard back as to how it turned out and this brother is looking for a commercial size system.
