Looking good @FeelHaze! Is that Zamaldelcia on the left and Panama x Bangi Haze on the right?

I really like the way you dry and cure you
buds. I will have to try dry trimming on my next harvest. I have always wet-trimmed in the past.

Exactly ! Zamaldelica on the left and Panama x Bangi Haze on the right.

Since I strarted dry trimming 2 years ago I feel like its the way to go. Drying with more leaf material slow down the process and minimize degradation. After that you can take your time on each individual bud and polish them like diamonds. Some people argue trichomes fall off with this method but it is not the case if you don't overly dry the buds.

I've got a question for you @FeelHaze. When do you change your seedlings to 11/13 lighting. Mine are 9 days old and I have them on 18/6 lighting for now.

I normally veg them on 18/6 around a mounth, until they have maybe 7 nodes. Then I train them a bit, removing the first node or the first two nodes, keeping 3 to 4 nodes (depending if I want 6 or 8 main colas) and top above that. After that I water the plants, give them 48 hours to recuperate and flip to 11/13. That will break the apical dominance big time.

They should look like this when ready ..

Thanks for the reply @FeelHaze! I had heard some people start seedlings at 12/12 or even 11/13. Giving the baby plants more light makes them grow faster and healthier IMHO.

You surely can grow small columnar plants that way but I don't think they will enter the flowering stage with the same strong branching and root system or yield as much.

Still, I have seen some growers having good results that way.

Looking fantastic as usual @FeelHaze! Are these in straight Happy Frog? Have you fed them at all?

And lastly, do you do anything as far as IPM is concerned?

Thanks Mr. Beaver !

This grow I'm using straight up Happy Frog soil. I'm also experimenting with Fox Farm Big Bloom as a PK booster. I started with 1/4 doses every 2 watering and went up to half doses but Pangi showed signs of lockout ( you can see burned spots on her in the last pict ). I flushed her two days ago and added a bit of Cal/Mag after that. We'll see how it goes for her this week. I also reduced the feeding with Zamaldelica to avoid eventual problems.

My IPM is really basic. I spray H2O2 inside the tent and wash everything before each new grow and when I flip from veg to bloom. From the second trimester of flowering, I reduce the RH below 60% ( watchout peaks at night ). Right now it stays between 25% and 30% all day. Also, I water minimally, every 3-4 days.

How's your Durban man ? You must be close to harvest ?
