1st Pic from my partner. Others are Original Haze #7 pollinated

I'm going to Flower these 3 phenos . Within the next week . I'm trying to mature some Original Haze #7 i pollinated with #1 Red Gold

Exciting to see the Colombian Shine Threw . I see some similarities with Original Haze. This seems to have vigor and decent flower Mass / development. I Think There Much potential in these Genetics

Hopefully I can find a Outdoor location and maybe start flower indoors then drop some in Ground

well needed some time and had also lot's of work...
here some pic's from the ready cured haze work from last winter...
it's from top to bottom:
1. Zamal/OHz x OHz
2. A5/Ohz x OHz
3. Caledonia/OHz x OHz

all have great effect while the Zamal is special... terpene and also flowers...
me & my friends love all ...
well coming week I'll will sprout some of Sam's latest private haze work...
still have near 100 seeds to go through + his special Skunk and Thunk 2 and bunch of other crosses with the haze... think will make a new thread dedicated to to his work and the seeds I'll got... will talk more about plans and project's with his gear there ...
still remember the last visit before xmas and how happy he was... he sent me a mail the next day and day after we talked on phone some time... I'll had this gut feeling but thought we would see again in January...

I'm doing a deep dive on the Grail haze hybrid thread on the MNS forum and I see you were an active participant on it. I'm just 20 pages into it and don't want to jump to the end but my curiosity is driving me wild.

Did anything big/positive come out of that thread?? The period from 2001 to 2012 is dark for me, as far as www cannabis fora, and in my short time being an active participant here on ICM, I haven't heard about a Hz Grail.

You're not growing Sea Of Green but Sea Of Trichomes That's impressive, I don't know if I could grow this type of plants in my current set-up but I would like to smoke of those great looking flowers.

JUST SOME OF MY OPINION

MOST IMPORTANTLY
Nevil started his Last Project Ever . He had vision his stories his experiences his opinions were DETAILED/ VIVID / COLORFUL

It was a Great start his attitude and eagerness to create a Grail was Uniting . It brought us together to share ideas to share genetics and create the ultimate Haze hybrid

Nevil Answered many of My Questions indepth . It was Surreal , I believe he enjoyed throughly these convos maybe / hopefully as much as me . Many stories told soo clearly soo intricately , it seems honesty poured from his heart into my eyes

I thought at times this guy is a Genius , other times he's conceded and closed minded. I imagined a tell all book which could've been made into a movie



He didn't take criticism or judgment well .But his spirit was bright and Strong to involve Us All . I wish he could've gave more of a Stiff Arm approach like Sams with Not putting too much energy into argumentive post / posters. I admitted I thought I was a thorn to Sams at times to Express how important the Truth was to me

We spoke privately he was upset of my opinion at times and told me if I was a friend of Sams I couldn’t be his

I expressed my Respect for both and told him my main Intention/ interest was the Truth and as many details as possible.


Shanti if I recall banned him and I believe there relationship went left . Because the forum was in a major battle. All these years later guys still won't admitt there wrongs

One thing I remember that made me Smile was Kanga mentioned he and Nevil Named franken fuel and THEY knew I'd be happy to hear it . Seems Nevil and I shared a similar taste

Thankfully his mission in OZ , his time on the net and meeting and reuniting brought fourth some Great work and new hybrids

Im sure there a few others some i won't mention

I'm now on page 65 of a thread and I totally understand your thoughts. Just like Owsley Stanley with LSD, genius's can, in fact, be conceited, close-minded and arrogant. That's part of what makes them geniuses.

Can't remember what thread it was right now, but he wasted more time with Japanfreak then any human should have. I hate that most of SamS's posts here on ICM have been shit canned, but that was obviously his choice. I've learned a _tremendous_ amount about cannabis development by reading most of Neville's old posts on MNS, I wish I could do the same here on ICM with Sam's.

Strictly my impression / opinion of what I've read over the last many years on MNS... I think Neville wasn't as honest as Shanti and was probably doing some double dealing behind Shanti's back and he found out. Strictly conjecture on my part, just from reading the forum, I obviously wasn't there, so I obviously do not know.

Kanga has just now appeared in the thread where I'm reading, with his giant plants and he and Nevil _seem_ to be getting along splendidly. It's my general impression that things didn't end up that way and for what I can tell, it looks like Kanga was arrested, spent 6 years in jail, and is no longer involved with cannabis whatsoever.

But Thanks to these fellas , his grail project lives on

Update a month later

The flower mass is impressive to me

I have some plans and dreams, hopefully in the future these can be grown in their Native Environment

Red Gold Original Haze #7 seeds were a success. I have some more plans for summer project. Red Gold open pollination is in week 2 Flower

Unfortunately only 3 males and 3 females . I have some more Original seed I'll attempt at a later time

and a couple years ago I was given 4 seeds of some 80’s/CG[ kept in a Toronto fridge that long]

it had several chunky phenos..I selfed one cut hat had no sedation and the s1’s were very similar..

it makes a great" breeder "for long flower skinny Colombians..

I have given it to several seed sellers across the globe lol

I'm very excited to compare my first taste of Punto Rojo Blood / Colombian blood, to my past Haze experiences throughout my life.

I see , taste and feel connection with
Original Haze , Nevils Haze and Uptown Haze

Who was it if i recall Luiz owned BSC, I ordered Colombian Gold Black and Punto Rojo . They shipped the seeds but Arrived crushed

My recollection the Brazilian seed company Colombian Gold was thought to contain some Bld % but highly regarded . BH grew it as a smaller plant to my recollection

I've never smoked any Imported strains of yesteryear as my First Cannabis experience is late 90's . (Bricked mexican is the exception). Soo I can't recall or speak of the longer vs faster flowering colombians first hand .

I believe that what was Grown / Imported during the 60's vs 80's

The Varieties for various reasons
are Quite different in Quality as example Thai and Colombians Cannabis . The experiences of the most exceptional Examples comes from what time lines 60's mid 70's from many OG'S


My Recent experience with Original Haze and past Experience with Colombian Gold from HHF via keyplay

Both Vigor is incredible , Original Haze can be difficult for some to contain especially indoors in small spaces. The Colombian Gold i grew outdoors soo she had veg time but was a monster with major vigor

Now I can start to compare this Red Gold exceptional flower formation and stretch

I will open pollinate the HHF Colombian Gold in the future indoors aswell as Colombian Black . They are both Pure Sativa NLD

Soo I've done plenty of pollinations over the years

I thought it was wise to flower females one week ahead. IME males flowered at the same time as females , the males usually show sex before Females

My thought was to get them abit more mature would give opportunity for more mature seed.

I want seeds like the first Mexican brick I smoked equal weight of seed to flower

I'd love any thoughts or opinions on Achieving gettting the most matured seed during pollination and stages of pollination if you believe there are windows other than traditionally flowering out everything together

17 day flower for females Day 10 flower for males Red gold Open pollination.
With 1 Original Haze #4 its a family reunion

Since you asked for input.
I find it difficult to do a proper open pollination flowering males and females together.
Often, early males dominate the whole project.
What I prefer to do is to flower the males first, collect the pollen, then flower the females and paintbrush on the pollen to each branch of the female. This guarantees you know the father of each seed you make.

I like to let the females hit about 5 weeks of flower to pollinate them. This allows for the most seeds to be produced.
Then I let the seeds develop for 5+ weeks. There's no issue taking an 8 week plant to 11+ weeks to let seeds mature.

You can also use Ag30 bags to cover your females to better time and open pollination when you can't separate the males from females.
