How to grow cannabis outdoors

sex is determined at the time of pollination ,
there is no technique that increases chance of males or females ,
because they are already males or females , predetermined,
feel free to check this out with some more sciency kinda folk u know ,
im sure you will find it is correct,
i hear folks saying they can tell what the seed is too , but i dont really think thats doable...
Ive heard dubi say the same about higher male ratios in small pots. Maybe the extra males are just herms and not true male 🤷‍♂️.

I’ve had plants with different genders on each branch, heard of others using pollen from plants like this and getting a percentage of pure male offspring but not tried it myself.

Only explanation I can think of is that it was either a reversed male or the gender decision gets made again at every node.

I’ve had pure females that I’ve taken cuts from that grew into pure males. Not sure what goes on, pretty sure I didn’t mix up the clones.

Hey buddy, I've been in the community for awhile...and I think we have a spot for everyone.... This guy seems like he wants to grow cannabis...and wants to share what he's found...we're all at different places in our journey...and you should be respectful of that. On the note of too much, we all have different wants and needs from these plants. I've dabbled with it all, and it seems like lower thc, higher cbd helps me out, and thats alright. We're a cannabis community, and should act like it.
I went exactly the same way with it, couldn’t function at work on type one skunk hybrids. Then the problem was tolerance from the cbd, smoking silly amounts to relieve symptoms.
Settled on pure type 1 landrace sativa now, functional effects without the tolerance, win win.

What about sex reversal in plants, any thoughts? I don't mean hermies or by chemicals used on them.

not quite sure what you mean , can u elaborate a little for me ??
Can environmental, genetic, or perhaps hormonal imbalances act to alter after fertilization before sexual differentiation? I know I have grown out seeds from the same batch, roughly same conditions and have gotten hermies when I flowered too soon before they showed sex and didn't get them when I waited for them to show before putting them into flowering so it's interesting to me and am looking for opinions on why this would happen if sex is predetermined upon fertilization. I don't believe in being able to differentiate seeds by sex, we wouldn't need to buy fem seeds if that were the case beyond the simplicity and number count.

ok yes i see what you are saying
and ive definitely seen the same ,
i guess sexuality is fluid in cannabis is all i can say , haha ,
some have a propensity for this , and others stay firm ,

seems to be a question of the ages , i wish i knew the answer dime ...

oh thats kinda uncanny ,
i have some papaya in which ive been watching carefully
, i planted 3 ,
seeds were from a plant where there was no males to pollinate ,

i kinda expected them to be all the same , of course all female ,
and maybe they will be , but one shows a full female ,
and the other two look like they will get fruit too ,
but also i think male flowers along with it ,
im watching to see the outcome as it interests me too ..

ill report back , oh and ill read that paper to in the meantime ,
thanks man ..

@Dime

There seems to be two things going on..

Senescence stress or sts induced gender switching will produce fem offspring but plants that switch for other reasons like maturity at induced flowering onset or the ones with whole alternating male and female branches in the absence of stress factors will produce reg seed. In both cases it seems to be part genetic, could be the difference between reversed males and reversed females.
Never taken a male far enough to switch it with stress or senescence.
