Was that written by Soul? It sounds like Soul. His 'puffery' knew no bounds.
Seeds found in the 'deepest part of the buds' indicates it was pollinated early, NOT that it was JH, just pollen.
'The high is almost too intense', 'body tremble involuntarily and your heart to race and paranoid thoughts', sounds like Soul. 'evil scent in it too, like rotting meat'. Definitely Soul.
I agree that the 'sativa' effect is strongest at 6-7 weeks. After that it mellows quite a bit. A11 can get stony.
The bit about 'stays short' is pure puffery. She's a lanky bitch. The Lucas and Ray Davies cuts were sports. Not 1 in 10 were 'short'.
Some of that male pollen went into their 'Royal Mix'. I list it as #30 which means I ran it between the 2 Sly 1-offs I've mentioned. I kept them, RM has no notes so nothing special was found.
It's obvious Soul wrote this long ago, before defoliation became common the the development of the hybrids out now.
I ran either the .50 or .75...didn't seem anything like C99 on further back-crosses.

Comparing C99 to Princess bud I'd say Soul reached his goal with C99. They were very close in smells, tastes and potency. Princess was more pineappley.

But you know I was partial to Apollo 11 so I'm not a highly experienced C99 guy and wasn't a Mr Soul fanboy back then. Sly was the cool one.

Ever grow Ice Princess?

All I ever grew from seed from the BG menu was Apollo 11 and the in/out mix.

Private clone trading was the source of most of my keepers.

At CW I didn't post nearly as much as I did sending and receiving PM's.

Why spend $150 on C99 seeds when you can get a cut from someone you trust that already grew out and found a keeper?

Has Soul created anything since his return that generates close to the hype surrounding C99 then and now?


The C99 Lucas cut was a nice morning smoke. I could substitute it for coffee to get me going. But i don't think I held on to it for more than a year.

Before I shut down around 2002 most of my space was dedicated to Vietnamese black.

I still have 1/2 of what was sent. I didn't find anything special in the first bunch I grew. Made some crosses and some VB x VB seeds.

I crossed the 1st batch of VB with Panama haze, A5 haze, Genius, Cherry tart, Black Azad and Panama. So I have a lot to go through.

The Cherry Bomb was really nice, great smells and potency.

You are welcome Mr Beans. I think winter time is easier to grow in a tent because the humidity is easier to add than remove. Good luck with the grow, whatcha gonna do if one sprouts ballz?

I have some Haze beans gifted from Johnny Chicago that I should pass on to you guys. I like to get stoned, not high, so Haze is not my thing. Someone who can run some before they go bad, hit me with a PM.

I also have a ton of those SKOHLP seeds. Goodherb ran them free range in the wild and had what he said were good results. Lol, I was hoping his island would get covered with the stuff.

Thanks Flylowgethigh, for the opportunity to experience them (also thanks LostTribe,all others) these "SKOHLP" may maybe growing one or two places but not sure at the moment. Because most of the seeds(strains) that I open pollinated was in my Hilltop locate invaded by long/sticky fingers and dirty minds . The Cindy's also ,few others . Hardly anyone ever heard of most if not all the strains ,we pollinated.

I was to hand them out free ,but I guess they (whom ever thieves) couldn't waited.

The top left 2 plants marked G x P are Genius X Panama.

They are both working on their 5th node. I've never seen such compact growth as I'm seeing on the short one.


@Whip Bottom right is Cherry bomb X Cherry Tart. The most vigorous of the bunch.

Not from what I’ve seen. Have done a few different ones. His offerings now are good healthy grows with good effects by and large, you can count on a successful grow with minimal issues. That’s what I like about them. I did enjoy the Apollo 11 and it was close enough to remember the original. Prices are fine and I know what I’m getting when I buy.
Now he’s doing a lot of crosses and a couple S1 Not really interested in most of that.

Heave not run any of the princess crosses and didn’t have a frame of reference for it anyway.

I have these all at 18 days 12/12 hunting a bit. I started a bunch but already selected down for morphology just to take a look if any of them fire better than others then a further look can be made. I'll post up pics once theres something worthy of seeing besides leaves.

Yes that's from the second Genius clone I had.

I had gotten some clones of Bruce Banner x Apollo 11 and one of them was real close to original Apollo 11.

I crossed it with Durban Punch and Cherry Tart. Not sure if you got seeds of either or a BBx A11 clone around that same time, 2020ish.
