Green Haze

Grew out a few Green Hazes. Only one turned out female but she is incredibly big for only being in 2 gallons of pure coco. She still needs around a month to be finished fully. Green haze is definitely a hard plant to get to ripen inside unless grown under very intense lighting. She is on week 26, last month has been 10/14. Would have finished tons faster if grown under 10/14 from the start. The Green haze is loving the Advanced nutrients Overdrive, she is finally starting to swell up nicely. More photos to come once I harvest her in a month. I will add a smoke report of the following cuts I took today, then another report once harvested and once cured.

I noticed Ace has stopped selling Green Haze seeds on their website. Anyone know why they decided to do so? Luckily I still have 17 seeds. Might need to collect pollen. I love the way she grows. Took 2 cuts from the very bottom to try it out early. Tell me what you think, thanks.

That looks really good is all the plant harvested? How was the fresh dried smoke? Any mango flavor? Oldtimers haze is being reproduced maybe some fresh green haze will be available soon.

I still haven't harvested the whole plant. She is being harvested in portions. The bottom finished way faster than the top did. I chopped 6 branches off thus far. In 3 days I plan to harvest atleast up to the half way mark if not 2/3's of the way up to help the top finish quicker.

Waited a week after it dried completely to sample it. I can say I like it just as much or if not more then my Oldtimer's Haze which I considered my holy grail as of now. Going to be hard to tell which I love more . The Green Haze has more euphoric and energetic than the OTH. However the OTH is way more dreamy and floaty. I love them both. Just got done rolling a mixed blunt of the two, smoked it with my bro an dad, it was just to beautiful. Will update soon with photos of nice big buds of nice dry and cured bud, no worries.

Nice grow mate. Make sure you produce some green Haze F1 seeds.

Thanks man . I do indeed to reproduce some Green Haze seeds. The only bad thing is it will not be for atleast 2 years. But atleast I have the 17 seeds to get some real beauts out of them. I will wait and grow them out in a nice big green house. Ace Seeds will probably have them back on their website within 2 years. I was just wondering if Dubi and the crew are still working with the Green Haze line currently.

Got a great update for the people that are interested in Green Haze. Cut 5 of the lowest branches of my Green Haze as they were ready plus it will help the top finish. Still got around 10 big branches then the huge top  which I can't wait to show and harvest, it's so big. Smells very delicious and smokes even better.

Here are some photos of the 5 branches cut and manicured. Haven't weighted it yet, still drying. Will update more later once it is all finished.

Smoke report on my Oldtime's Haze has went up in the last month since it has been curing. Potency, flavor and everything about this plant is increasing by the day. The smoke is very smooth already as well. My holy grail for sure to date. 1 month cure only so far.

Hi Dr.King!

You really have courage to grow Oldtimer's Haze indoors from seed :)
It's not an easy task, the Oldtimer's Haze line is so tropical that barely produces flowers under 12/12 photoperiod, as you experienced it's better to flower them with 10-11 hours of light per day.

Congrats for your patience and talent to tame this sativa. I'm really impressed with the flower in this post, probably one of the best Oldtimer's Haze indoor flowers i have seen in a long time.

We are in the middle of a new 'pure' Oldtimer's Haze reproduction so there will be interesting and fresh stock for the upcoming years :)

I'm glad you are enjoying your Green Haze so much, please keep it and preserve it, and maybe cross it with something different of your taste, you will be amazed how the oldtimer's haze performs in hybrids.

Kind regards!

Thanks for your kind words Dubi. Glad to hear a new "pure" line coming out. I will most certainly grab them as soon as they are available. The Green Haze is getting more potent by the day as well. She still has 3 weeks till I plan to harvest the rest of her, also planning to leave her in the complete dark for 2-3 days after I turn off the lights. Love how it makes more tichs. I didn't save any of the males pollen I had, which is my own fault because I didn't know you could at the time. Thought the pollen had to be from later weeks into flowering. Lucky I got plenty of seeds left over for crosses, can't wait.

Here's a update on my Oldtimer's Haze. This is all of the top buds with a nice 2 month cure. Beautiful smell and mouth watering, my whole family loves her. The top it's self came to 30 garms. Wish I had of taken pictures of the whole 3 oz's and 26 garms before we smoked it .

This is all the top buds.

Thanks man. Still had over half of it left up to ripen more. Here are some updates just chopped this morning before lights cut on. Will update with a better smoke report and better photos once manicured and cured correctly. This Green Haze yielded like a complete monster in just 2 gallons of coco started 12/12 as well. She is also very N sensitive, note the yellowing leaves. She smells so amazing. Can't wait to grow some BIG MONSTERS outside in a year or two.

This is the very top.

Got some really big side branches as well 2-4 of these.

How could I not see this?...amazing work Dr. King...just beatiful beast...can you describe the smell?

cheers

Thanks :tiphat:. She smells like mature tropical fruits but she is only a week into curing so I am sure it will change some. It almost smells like if one where to walk through a rain forest just after it had rained.

You are right she is indeed a beast. Her yield compared to my Oldtimer's Haze was almost double. OTH yielded 3.5 oz's and the Green Haze yielded almost 7 oz's started from straight 12/12 too. She would turn into a jungle outside if done correctly. The Green Haze only took 4-5 weeks longer to ripen but the high comparison is big. I know the Green Haze has yet to cure but the OTH was just on another level compared to the GH. I will be able to judge better once the GH cures for 2 months. Here's all the Green Haze. 4-5 jars are already gone which where cut earlier .

Update?

Mr. Roseberry

Hey Mr. Rose, thanks for posting. Here is a smoked report. Was the same even throughout the curing process. I only got about 2 grams of hash from the entire plant which is crazy lol. I saved it and finished it off with the rest of the 6 month cured Green Haze. Only had about a gram left of the Green Haze cured 6 months for the hash. Effects where still quite nice but nothing compared to the Oldtimer's Haze I did, holy grail for sure. Take into account I am only running a 400 watt system and true Sativas such as a GH need atleast 1k. I am sure it will be tons stronger once I grow some big ones outside in 2 years. Cheers :).

Hey cap, thanks for the support :tiphat:. Ph I never check I only check the run off sometimes and that is only when I flush my coco before I plant. I don't have a Ph meter, only use a PPM of course. As for nutrients I use Advanced Nutrients, most of their line up in both veg and flowering. Ph Perfect has never failed me in over 4 years and their products have only gotten better. They now have a Ph perfect coco A + B combo set specifically for coco which helps it bind better to the coco. I can definitely tell the difference between the non Ph perfect combo set vs the Ph Coco perfect combo set without doubt in pure coco. Works wonders with speed, shock, bud formation and just makes the plant look so much more beautiful. Keep in mind I am using straight 100% coco.

I think (don't quote me on this) that Dubi said the last production was in 06 or 07. Can't remember nor can I find the post I saw sometime ago about this subject, sorry.

Unless you are planning to run the Green Haze with 2k+ lights (I'd do one HPS one MH) or outside I would recommend getting the OTH or Purple Haze. They both finish a ton faster if done correctly. I am going to give a go at some Purple Haze myself, straight 12/12 of course. Plus I hear some people finding a PH pheno that finishes in 13-14 weeks :woohoo:. Good luck on your future plans man.
