Managed to plant the whole first row on tier 2. Had some cool and rainy phases throughout.

Plant , cover, soak, transplant juice repeat.

Got a mix of peppers tomatoes and cucumbers. Thinking of the future we want fresh veggies everyweek. Diversifying the varieties is key for perpetual harvesting

Hopefully tommorrow I can shore up the greenhouse to get a higher peak and make a nice path and row in the process

i much prefer planting small. Let nature do rest.

When the fruit is young (usually during summer) its skin is thin and the flesh is soft, just like a zucchini or typical “summer squash”. This applies to all pumpkins also known as “winter squash”. When autumn comes the skin on the squash is usually thick and hard (rind) and the flesh is hard like a sweet potato. Same fruit different applications

They get sweeter as the ripen into winter squash. Also they store very well and sweeten the following 2 months after harvest

Lots still going on. I'm primed now to maybe completely finish the whole garden minus the greenhouse row

The hydroponic starters are booming after transitioning to the outdoors

Macho mapacho going strong. All the transplants have taken well too

The oregano that came with the garden could probably at this point be called a Canadian landrace. This variety is super sweet

P.s. my mom stays here alot and uses camoflouge on the plants she buys and plants here. Black tail deer will munch most anything in sight. So pretty smart move

Thru down some more Dill, radish started in an egg carton, parsley, 3 types of basil, a wall of scallions between the mupacho and the herbs, gotta row and a bit of skinny peppers too

Had to get it done. The babies are ready for a grounded home.

Still have to figure out a black out system for them

Last year's wood ash and hoping the oregano, lemon balm and a few other herbs we inherited take over the sandy ditches, end of the rows and walk ways. There roots will really help the terraces with erosion

There will be 3 beds on the first row too. Which means I need to shore up and secure the greenhouse better asap

May long weekend

Been prepping for the first festival of the year and the day has arrived. All the marinas and docks are full capacity and our roads are buzzing with tourists.

I made out like a bandit last year so hoping for the best again this year.

Made my patented organic, no bake brownies. So good for cannabis and fungus

Killed it today at the festival. Nothing better then a summer season out here

Rained over night so didn't visit the garden till this eve.

Skimmed a layer of sea weed on let sun dry until it all shrinks

Sea weed comes with other dead and organic matter, small pebbles and stones. Creati g another good solid layer for the bio beds

Whats nice about the sea weed is its dried texture. Adding layers in the spring lessons the work load and allows any weeding to be done in the process. It hold a bit of moisture and takes a while to break down I love this stuff. It brings in a bit of sand too. Easy work and layering has its short and long term gains

slugs and othet predators are detered by all the sharp broken and full shells and creatures

This sea weed also got to ferment in the sun for a few days. Hopefully that's an added value positive plus.

What is the metal frame of the green house?
Is it tall enough to walk in?
How did you secure it to the ground?
I'm looking to build a greenhouse and have a bunch of ideas but none are super financially fun so I'm looking for more ideas.

Back to poppies. I botched the last batch and only got a few to stand strong so I popped some more

Very similar to tobacco, you want to wet your soil, drop a bunch so they stick, then pool some water in the plugs so some medium mixes in with them. They do not grow really deep roots fast and don't need heat matts(I should say don't like them and avoid it) they prefer a cooler well draining medium with a moist warm surface area basically like a natural environment

They are very vigorous even under poor conditions so they crack quick

Hey dude.

It's a cattle panel greenhouse. Lots of cool videos on YouTube with many heights and variations. They are galvanized 8ftx16ft

Best thing about cattle panels is they are very diverse, are easy to mive and set up and sky is the limits on their uses. And depending on your hustle can be inexpensive.

Plant guilds, vertical, horizontal or bent trellis. Frame for blacking out with or without greenhouse cover. Growers guilds fence for new plants and trees.

I'm currently only using pressure from the garden fencing and and a shored up on the other side of A garden bed. I will be readjusting it soon to get a higher peak.
