Dr of Stupidity
One day I will leave it on 12/12 until it finally has enough growth and maturity, now you know why I was afraid to bring back the schedule when I on accidentally flipped it down, thinking that it would confuse it.... Remember how I was freaking out about when my order would arrive knowing I had until May to leave..... That's exactly why I clogged up the original Killer thread in concern about the time restriction.... The pictures don't really show how well sealed up I've been doing it, but this time it's basically compressed even further with a even more extensive type of sealing and wrapping it up in many many plastic bags, paper, more plastic bags, newspaper, the black HG bad wrapped and squished with even more newspaper.... It literally should be as vaccumed sealed as possible especially now.... Especially the twisting and holding it down technique in each and wrap.... One question though, does this mean now that I have to dry it once every week just to make sure of no mold? It's actually already very bone dry by the way.... I don't even know what year I'll be able to do the next seeds, there five more, if I had or have a house then maybe even some clones.... Ordering was so so stressful that I'm not looking forward to going through all those risks again.... Then again times change.....
Tightly wrapping and withdrawing all the air with a vacuum pump are not the same. Even very tightly wrapped, it still contains air, albeit only a small amount, but sufficient for mould to breed.
Yes, you do need to dry it weekly, although I'd be tempted in your case, to dry it completely now and prevent further mould from spreading.
Next time you must invest in a vacuum sealer machine or use drier starting material (less likely to mould).

Your a lost cause my friend you constantly ignored advice from multiple people while growing it.
You wouldn't get a timer even though they are cheap, you just kept on freaking out about nothing.
Then harvesting it and now cured it your own way.
I dont understand how you think or apply logic.
DRY it and keep it in a jar, which is what you should have done in the first place.
Keeping even dry buds in a plastic bag in high humidity is always a recipe for mold.
But this is one more piece of advice you will probably ignore.

I smoked it and it was extremely magical, it still seems to be developing though but very cartoony fairytale moments into my long awaited dream portal, if it continues the same way then just wow 😯 I opened it up and it was very very dry and I didn't find anything to be worried about except that it's hella brown with other colors and bone dry and now it's wrapped into only dry papers and compressed even harder..... My other concern was the panic that reading icmag caused and imagining stuff concerning the "mold topic" but then saw that it smelled and looked awesome, the only ones that were supposedly I guess moldy ones are still in a plastic bag and their the ones not to smoke but their only a tiny amount compared to the rest...My magical spooky room and the utterly magical balcony where the moon shined and the trees and the river are at were like two separate cartoony realms in time and space, omg wow, if and hopefully it's gonna keep getting more psychedelic than this is the best trancendant experience of all time and space, that I've ever had 😲

It's actually hella dry wrapped in many many papers wrapped in even ones not on the pic, but it is really really dry, and are you guys sure that you see mold? View attachment 19004651
You can't see the mold spores. Mold spores could go into your lungs where they will germinate, you or your friends don't want that. It could possibly make you very sick. I don't want to sound like I am preaching, it's all your choice but I wouldn't want to see you get sick

That actually looks nicely cured but long term storage will be difficult if its exposed to humid conditions.
Best keep it in a small jar with a sachet of silica like you find in medicine bottles to absorb any moisture in the air.
Boveda packs would be good if you can get them if not then silica as I mentioned above.
Paper will absorb moisture from the air and help germinate any mold spores in the air.

Not smoking a lot previously would be a benefit with a good strain like that even taken early enjoy.

Bro, I'm in a whole entire different realm from the past two days from a joint!!!! 🤩 I've literally got so much work done every hour, while listening to music and having a great time with my girlfriend, this is awesome, so you're trying to tell me that it becomes even more psychedelic than this 🤩 I love this stuff, I'm still in that cartoon land of time and space, I can feel everything... This is like the land of Psychedelia creativity where even each room and balcony is a different portal 🤩 No I've never had a strain this good and psychedelic before... I'm always happy, no paranoia... The only paranoia I had was that I'd one day I'd have to beat the shit out of my neighbors if they keep interrupting my high with their loud abusive voises 😂 😆... I don't want to have to pay for any fines.... Or have to deal with their mobster friends..... Writing my novel is outstanding as one of the dimensions is the weed highs from this Sativa in the books I've by the way been developing it for years.... I'm also an English Teacher, but I have to deal with so many conservative Karen's that now I just roast them if they misbehave.... My balcony outdoor river forest area part of my big apartment is literally the most magical, and for two days straight it's like this (you know those new aged LSD shrooms videos?) Well this is thousands of times better at the least.... There's nothing one dimensional about this early taken harvest infact I hate that word because I love staying in these multiple dimensions of space and time cartoony one with the universe that I've been dreaming and waiting for for years.... No, not even US strains were this good.... Not even edibles... Imagine making an edible out of this and flying through each and every portal of magical trancendance.... That'd be far too many portals for the mind to handle 🤩 Which means that in other words I should try it one day.... But Growing in this apartment is risky because of reasons that I won't utter here...Tangwena, the paper is not only one paper it is a bunch crumbled into a vaccume sealed compressed and put into even more compressed papers in a locked box... If anything I'll take it out everyday and check it.... I'll keep putting updates but smoking it will be once a month since I have little yeild until future grows.... This one tiny joint is stronger than any bowl or even three or five or six bowls that I've had, it was like one eight of a joint.... This is why I bought Killer a5 Haze, I kept reading about paranoia for people with low tolerance.... No paranoia, but I love this dimension.... Also every thought is put in the universe cartoony visuals... With regular weed in the past I always felt like I wanted more and much much more, and wow!!!! This is in the beyond. I hope that it becomes more psychedelic over time, the more for me the better....
One day I hope to do a picnic out in the woods with this strain, hopefully give some to my girl, she hasn't smoked in years just like I hadn't before this.... It's another long topic....

OST buddy I understand that I talk weird but I'm just stating facts Bruh, as weird as my stories seem they're a reality.... I just sometimes hurry too much as I'm writing and I bunch up all this information into one comment 😅 That way I have more time for myself 😆

I've been experimenting with a few cobs lately, and there is something I'm not sure I understand with sweating:
How moist should the cob feel at the end of the sweat?

I've done a thai chi cob after only 2 days drying. 6 hours sweat at 40°C. Came out super wet, needed 1 week to feel dry to the touch. It's one month old now, and rather dark - classical cob look.

I've then tried cobbing drier material, as lots of you guys suggest they taste better that way. Did 2 cobs this way, with almost-dry buds, and couldn't feel any moisture to the touch (or veeeery little), even after 12h of sweating.

Is it a problem? Would you suggest adding moisture to the cobs and re-sweating them?

Not a problem. Go by the smell.
Don't add water.
Many of mine show no visible sweat in the bag, or only a tiny amount. You can then leave sealed for a few days to let the ferment take hold.
If they only feel a little moist that's ok, it'll happen, but slower . You will have more stable cobs that are less prone to over ferment over time, with the bonus of better terps
Post a pic or two.
Usually you can see some colour change, but the smell is the tell

Thank you! I'll post a few pics on my next inspection.

And while I'm at silly questions, has anyone tried adding a ground chunk of an old cob into a new one, to start the bacterial colony better, as it is done in bakery for instance?

Following that analogy with bread, I once read a story about a french baker migrating to the US with his ferment wrapped against his belly during the whole trip, so as to keep it at an ideal temperature to start making bread when he got there.
I tried a variant of that with my last cob: put it to sweat inside my bed, in my pants' pocket while I'm sleeping. That's 8 hours at a stable 37°C without any electricity being used. Haha
Might as well work with the dog, but I'm afraid he'd bite it!:ROFLMAO:

Next time I'll try the manure pile, or putting it under the tiles on a sunny day.
Low-tech cobbing!
