The problem the USA government has with Julian Assange is, what he published exposes some raw facts of government terrorism.
They'd rather keep people blindly obedient. Exposing government sanctioned terrorism can lead to people asking questions and maybe even lead to critical thinking. Can't have that!

Today's partial win for Assange was the first in a long time, by my recollection. If that's what you were referring to, then yes, it was a rainbow after a rainstorm.
