Root balls from the SSH tray I pulled a week ago. I think there is plenty of root space for even larger plants, which I am in the process of proving with my current trays. Beginning to think 4 plants per 1k in 2 gal pots may be the sweet spot.

So the bottom bucket of the ppk is LOADED with these little jumpy white larvae looking things, and I'm guessing spring tails. Hard to live the plant and take a picture at the same time. They are too damn small anyways.

From what I read they don't do much harm. I'll probably just empty the system when the water level gets lower and flush it with azamax for a day or two. I'm planning on flipping that room tomorrow if I can get everything squared away.

Have an extra bucket to set the plant in when inspecting below.
I get those little guys too. they don't seem to do any damage but always keeps me paranoid of aphids and such.

So unfortunately I have to choose between a 600 and a 1k for my horizontal trays.

I had originally started flowering the 12 plant scrog under a 600 in flower #1, and a 1k over my single plant scrog but the temps in flower room #2 were climbing into the 80s with 3k veging in there. And the screen is so full from the 12 plant scrog vs the single that I decided to switch bulbs and ballasts.

Now i keep going back and forth trying to decide because after stretch both screens should be full, and I know this sweet island is a yeilder and quality strain. Another issue is im limited in vertical height over the single plant and not over the 12 plant. The sweet island stretches a lot too.

The rooms are too full or i would just switch the plants around. Both are over 4x4 screens, which is a little small for a 1k but my hoods are small as well. Temps should also get lower in #2 after they get on 12/12 not 18/6. I guess I will just switch things up as they progress and i see fit. I also got a swamp cooler set up in #2 to help with the heat and add humidity, still only getting down to 82*F and 35-40% humidity. Hopefully the bulb switch and the 12/12 switch makes a bigger difference.

Heres some pics of the trays in question:

12 plant scrog

1 plant ppk with what looks like iron def or mag def? Veins are still green leaf tissue is yellowing

That's the current plan because I want to install a T and a shutoff valve for easy draining.

Here's the pulley system I used to hang the Carbon Fiter ~12 feet up above my trays. Filter + fan weigh ~180 lbs, the pulley system is 4:1 so it ends up only ~45 lbs on the end of the rope. Worked out very well.

For the most part. Got four 1k donuts rocking right now as well as another 600 and a 1k over two 4x4 horizontal trays. Last two pages should have pics of everything.

Should have 5600 watts across 6 trays all on 12/12 starting tonight.

EDIT: There's 2 flower rooms with 3 trays each. 1 is ~15x15 the other is smaller @ ~15x12. They are both awkward shapes too due to it being an A Frame second story and there being random Window/Roof popouts. (Can't think of the architectural term, but they have their own little roof that pokes up from the main A Frame)

I could actually fit a 4th tray in flower room #1 if I had another light... Bah...

I'm looking to flip these rooms this winter with 6k+ in each. We will see how I end up designing them to accommodate that amount of lighting.

Whats ur height in there with a 5' wide diameter centered. So if u measured 5' across in the center of your ceiling how tall is it on the side of that, not ur peak height. am I making sense here.

Something like 8'. Problem is with the layout of rooms, one is off centered and the other only has like 10 feet where you can fit a tray down the center. There are stairs/railing, as well as closets and a bathroom throwing the space all out of wack. As mentioned above there are also these awkward 7' tall window spaces that poke out of the A Frame.

The off center room you could only fit a full 8 ft tall tray in there by squeezing it against a wall. I run 4x4 trays as well. Not 5x5.

Damn lots of angles in there to work around. I was trying to see if u had room vertically to stack lights, cause the net yield effect is tremendous. Since ur using thousands that's why I was asking if u had 5x5 going up 6 or 7'. But 4x4' up 7' high would work too.

It's definitely a possibility here when I step up to 6k in each room.

So I got flower room #2 flipped today. Lights are on, temps are in check. ~78 in both rooms. The evaporative cooler seems like it needed a day to catch up with how dry the room was, and after an hour of lights on Humidity was at ~50%. I sprayed the room down with some RO water and after 10 mins I was hitting ~65%. I'm okay with that. I'll try to spray the room once during lights on for a week or two and then things should be out of stretch and ready for 50% humidity.

I'm simply amazed I can even raise the humidity that much in a house with so many lights that is also ventilated. I love it.

Gonna try to take clones in the next couple days and do some training and defoliating on EVERYTHING. Still behind on trimming, and have bills due Monday. BUT! I've got 5600 watts in 12/12 right now and man, does it feel good!

looks like your yield improved. I like the way the buds looked even way down on the bottom branches. way to work the vertical.

btw, the blossom end rot on tomatoes and peppers is a calcium def.
