Looks awesome!
What you mean by summer smoke? Do ÿou smoke by season rather than daytime?
Thanks dstark...summer smoke...the weed for the summer... I will probably smoke it in the morning and daytime though because it is so sativa. I have a couple of jars of O.G. Kush that I keep for nighttime relaxation...

Beautiful sativa specimens, the crosses sound awesome to.
Nice :)

Thanks! I like the smells that are starting to come from them, there is a definite melon cocoa scent with some woody destroyer tones on the broader leaf phenos, and a much spicier, nuttier, almost hazy tone from the more sativa leaning pheno...

The Oldtimer's Haze was repotted today. I gave it a few more gallons to stretch out its roots into. The soil was Foxfarm Happy Frog organic, and I mixed in a generous amount of guano, worm castings, greensand, azomite, and special bear amendment... I hope not too much to burn her.

Here she is outside of the tent.

Here is a shot of as much of the tent as I can fit in the frame. In the center is the Destroyer x Malawi, Haze is back left, Destroyer x Chocolope back right, Panama peeking in from the front right, and Destroyer x Chocolope #2 in the front left.

Looking great man. I have a sativa project for myself. Its put off for another 8 months or so. I have 50 Tom Hill Haze's and a bunch of rare dankness sativas like GTH 1, and 9. I'll be lurking.

Tom Hill's haze looked like a fun growing project, I think the breeders says 5% represent the 'astonishingly electric' category. Are you going to look for a keeper from those 50? I want to grow out five to ten Oldtimer's Haze seeds to make a cache of seed for future grows. This one is in clone form too, maybe it will be 'electric' or an 'acid pheno'.

Looking to get more purple highland colombian traits too.

Looking real nice Bear Riot, that OTH is a monster. Are you getting any trichomes on it?
I have a couple OTHxPunto Rojo going that are about 6 weeks into flowering and looking nice but no trichs yet, no smell and I'm starting to be concerned.

Ya. I bought 3 packs at first. Than another one, and another one. I am hoping to grow them all out at once since I have a whole bedroom. I am indeed looking for that special 'purple haze acid pheno'. 50 plants of one strain is a lot for me, but I hope in the end I get a nice mom or 2 which I'm sure I will. I also have his Deep chunk and got deep chunk x haze freebies which look interesting. My problem is keeping 50 mothers!!! : x

I always wanted to grow out destroyer. When I was younger it was because of the name and how they said it had so many crystals so close together. Now I learn it's a great sativa. I need some good daytime energetic smoke.

verry interesting genetics, beautiful thin fingers on the leafs
they most stay long in flower (likely?) but it pays to wait for this specially stuff...

I did. Last year I grew out a male Chocolope and pollenated the tent, then about a month later I pollenated the new flowers with an Ace Malawi. I really like the Destroyer, even seeded she was a powerful smoke. That bud definitely benefitted from a long (2 + month) cure.

Love what you are doing there, beautiful selection you made. Hope your year will be a great one !

:thank you:

Those leafs:)))
Sorry if you already mentioned, how long each strain is going to flower?

The Oldtimer's Haze should flower for 18-22 weeks. The crosses, who knows? They are a test. Panama is 11 weeks, if I remember correctly.

Thanks! I really like the Destroyer x Malawi cross, I am looking forward to seeing how the buds develop.

Unfortunately I may have a stretch issue. She has doubled in size since I put her in the tent. I have to look at the dates on the photos but im pretty sure she was vegged for about a month, and now in the first week of flower, she doubles in size. If she does not stop I will have to consider other options with her.

ill be watching this one

Good to have you hear my friend.

Here are some shots from today.

The Haze is bulking up nicely. The calyxes are tiny at this point, almost invisible. When they swell she is sure to gain some weight.

Look how much the Destroyer x Malawi has stretched. This is in one week, she has doubled her size. She cannot keep stretching at this rate much longer, we will see though. She is the strongest smelling plant in the tent. I love her open structure, and I have a clone that might be flowered out in the greenhouse.

Actually, Chocolope is a fast flowering strain. It has questionable genetics, the breeder claims it to be Cantaloupe Haze x Chocolate Thai, but it flowers in 8-9 weeks. Obviously some Indica in the heritage. Malawi is a mid-longer flower pure sativa strain (14 weeks I think) and Destroyer is pretty quick for a pure sativa (8-12 weeks). The Destroyer x Chocolope I am thinking will go no more than ten weeks. Destroyer x Malawi I want to leave for 12+ weeks. The Haze was already in 12/12 for six weeks before this thread was started, so I expect it to go for about 10-12 more weeks, finishing slightly after the others at around 22 weeks.

I had some mite issues in the tent, so I sprayed Neem Oil. I never actually saw any mites but some of the lower leaves began developing speckling...then after the Neem spraying, ALL the leaves developed speckling, which made me angry, but hopefully no mites.

Anyway the plants still look good.

Haze coming along:

Destroyer x Malawi is starting to develop some flowers, still stretching but not nearly as quickly. I think she will put energy into flowering now, maybe stretching a little bit more.
