Glorn2: I've got about 10 Bangi Haze phenos going and most of mine look closer to the fluffier pheno you posted. Though for the most part it seems like a really stable line. Mine were quiet loose until about a week ago, but have started to harden up nicely. I'm also at 12 wks! I'm down to 10/14 as of 10 days or so ago. I get the feeling these will just keep throwin fresh pistils forever.
They've got a nice sweet, lemony/skunky smell so far.
Gonna go one more wk or so most likely. Maybe 2 wk's. Sorry about the blurry cell phone pics!

Whew, thanks! I've scrolled most of the pages here and couldn't find much about this pheno; she was definitely the oddball for me; and still looks far from being ready. I really like how it grows, and have a clone of it growing in my greenhouse. The "unknown" was giving me some anxiety though; putting a lot of effort into this outdoor one! Currently in a 5x5 scrog, and about 5, ft tall. Gonna need a space heater if we hit November and still in flower!
It looked a lot like zinc deficiency, it was the only one in my tent of this phenotype, and with the really yellow tips (it got much worse than this). The only thing I could think was that it was just growing so fast, it couldn't take up the nutrients fast enough. The thing that finally worked for me is floralicious plus (a kelp dominant nutrient mix). Looking into it, kelp has a lot of zinc. You can see in the photo, the pearlite looks brownish; I had just watered it with this tea mix. Every 3 weeks or so I put about 20ml of floraliciois in 5 gallons of water, and feed her. The rest of her nutrients come from the soil. Seems to keep those yellow top leaves in check for me.Dang looks nice Glorn2! Looks very similar to mine in veg. Mine also had those light green tips; probably from the crazy growth rate.
Ahh interesting about the zinc Glorn2. Floralicious is a good product! I actually happen to have some. I use mostly GH products lately as I'm trying to use up my 22L jugs of 3 part before it goes bad. If it ever really goes bad hah....
Anyways I'll deff give that a try if I put the Bangi into rotation next crop. I didn't use Floralicious this round, Just 3 part GH, plus powdered KoolBloom, Rapid Start, a Humic/Fulvic product, and Thrive Alive B1, which is a seaweed/kelp product; however I stopped using it around wk2 bloom as I ran out. I also add organic material to my soilless mix. EWC, compost, guano etc.
But yea even late in flower here before flush my Bangi's have more yellow leaves then the other 5 strains I'm running. Interestingly though they pull off super easy and clean. Even the tight bud leaves. I often worry about those leaves yellowing as it can cause rot when the yellowing goes into the bud, but these leaves just die and fall off or pluck off super easy. Great strain so far! Only smoked a little sample bud off one of the plants but it was excellent.

@flylowgethigh @Glorn2 you both got a very similar phenotype, a leafier, longer flowering and less tamed Congolese sativa dominant expression of long thin pistils.
@lemonade wow, the one you have posted in this page looks wonderful, great flower/leaf ratio, dense nuggets, plenty of long thin sativa pistils, such types are the ones i would look for when selecting through Bangi Haze. The lemony types are usually the ones with most potent and cerebral effects too.
@user128 guess it depends on each person chemistry and on your Bangi Haze selection although i agree many Bangi Hazes can be electric, but cold and introspective at the same time, therefore some people can feel its effects more paralizing and thought provoking. On the other hand, our Congo strain has a much more clean, kind, uplifting, happy and expansive effect, being both Congolese sativa hybrids, but each one with different personality.

I just chopped mine today too. A solid 15 weeks of flower, it was still growing, but I had to call it. It was a single plant I had taken out of a scrog, because the sister plants were all done.
I'm curious how much more it would have grown If I let it go for another 3-4 weeks. Maybe next time!

bangi haze at 43 days -this one smells like cherry, leather, cologne, booze, some kind of dark sweetness, effervescent and vaporous. Its an intriguing aroma. shes really started to show herself this past week. I have one other from a pack of regs in with her as well, looking forward to how they both develop

You don't remove the dead leaves?Some pics !
She lives in 24''X24''X55''(60X60X140CM) tent , with 3 others plant . In July, the temperature rose to 40°C ( 104 °F ) in the box . The leaves dried out but the buds remained green .
Easy to grow even in little space .

No, but I did it when I saw your message . I had left them on because they were so tight, yesterday I cut them off, there are still some small ones in the buds but I don't want to damage the flowers .
They will be cut at trim . She is floweing since 103 days ( 14 weeks ) and she is still making some news flowers .

Looks great. Love the structure and wide leaves. Wonder if they thin out further into flower...... Great work anyway man, especially up north like you are.veeery lil flowering! around 2 meter high. consider to take clones to do indoor

I cannot beleive how hardy this strain is, and also being so late into the fall. I mean November is basically winter up north like that. And the frost! Look at that frost, don't see much if any mold too. Wonder how the smell and taste is.thanks guys, im honored!
the end is near, few plants left. heres bangi haze, got her down today. thanks for letting me try it dubi bro, im really suprised she did so good here!

That mom is a beaster! So thick and lovelly cabbage leaves. Always loved leaves both extremes. Fat and razor thin. I am looking forward to getting some Kalite Tizane strain, that has awesome thin as hell leaves.Dubi
