Note the conditions they list. The rest looks interesting, but I just went to the cancer section. They note the kinds of cancer that respond to canabinoids. That have been identified so far.

They did not list diabetes. That was first noticed in 2006. The same year as the NIH report.

GW pharm. in GB is conducting human tests with THCV. It shows high probability of controlling the entire "syndrome X" condition. =Combination of sugar, bp, high LDL and low HDL. University of Jerusalem in 2006 published a study. They used CBD, another canabinoid, looking at type 1 diabetes. Looks like it fights inflammation of the pancreas. Which, in turn, allows it to move toward normal function. As far as I know, this may be the only known drug to do this. People have been able to get off insulin entirely. Those would be type 2 that I know of. I'm one of them.

I was able to drive my diabetes into remission. I was only on Gluchophage, not on insulin.

I had a small shift to the good in my LDL/HDL ratio. By bp dropped ~40 points. Although a benicar seemed to be a good thing once in a while.

Until I was arrested for doing it. Treating my own diabetes. Successfully and perhaps in a much more beneficial way than any other medicine available today.

Doctors challenge

If you would like to take canabinoid therapy out for a test drive you can try this:

Find a small skin cancer. Do a before and after biopsy.

There are two sources of canabinoids to use in this mini trial.
Marinol and marijuana.
To use Marinol, will cost about $420 and provide 20mg per day to the area.
Using high grade marijuana will cost about $50 and provide about 150mg/day.

For the legal method: cut open two 10mg Marinol caplets and place the oil on a small piece of gauze. Place the gauze on the cancer and cover with a bandage. Replace once per day for seven days. See the results for yourself

For the method that the federal government thinks you should go to jail for:
Use about 1/8 ounce of high grade marijuana. Add just enough 99% iso alcohol to cover. Stir for about ten minuets. Filter the alcohol into a heat resistant dish. Warm the mixture to about 190F. When most, but not all, of the alcohol has evaporated add a couple of drops of a food based oil such as canaola or corn oil.
Warm the solution until no more bubbles are observed.
Take seven small pieces of gauze and soak up the resulting thick paste. Try to get an even amount on each piece of gauze.

Refrigerate the gauze until it is to be used.
Apply one gauze piece to the cancer and cover with a bandage. Replace once per day for seven days.

Peanutbutter: I'm a little confused. Can marijuana be smoked to help fight cancer or must it be either applied in a special fashion(such as how you stated before for skin cancer)?

Smoking is the least desirable way to consume for these intentions.

For most cancers, and other diseases, most of the time the administration route would be to eat some form of extract.

Exceptions would be when the cancer is able to be directly exposed to the canabinoids.

For lung cancer, a suppliment of eating would be to vaporize small amounts. Again direct exposure. At the same time as being eaten also.
