I use molasses regularly and don't have anything like that going on. Looks like some kind of deficiency.

what type of molasses did you use?
how much runoff when watering? any drainage/runoff issues before?

shes 5th week flower.
i used a tsp of grandmas not blackstrap. ive used molasses before. and never had this type of problem. the only thing i can think of,.....i fucking put rocks at the bottom of my pot. well that proved a disaster this go around. it turns out....the rocks lift the roots up about a half inch from the bottom of the pot. however, some roots grow down into the run off tray solution. well, whenever it dries out those roots end up dying. its a daily occurance of drying out, dying roots, then growing back, then dying again. i assume the molasses spured a huge amount of bacteria/fungi and with the build up of dead root mass at the bottom, caused me root rot? i dont no....im like really hoping i can get some type of salvagable nugs and that it will stay alive for at least 2 more weeks. or else 1500 dollars down the drain |

oh also to note.....the large spur of bacteria/fungi could have possible fucked up my pH and led me into some type of deficiency zone. this could very well be the problem. i checked the run off pH, which ill admit im a strong proponent of NEVER doing, it turned out to be about 6.9. so i mixed up new nutes and pHed a little lower than normal.

Okay dude just looked at your profile, I had PH probs aswell, I thought that as soon as i saw those curled up leaves,, you should flush for two weeks now, first spay off the dead root stuff with straight tap water ,chlorine helps then flush as normal with ph water!! works for me

GRAVITY FUCKED IT ALL UP
i think i may have discovered my "mystery problem" from your simple question!!
about 4 days ago i applied 1/6-1/4th tsp of gravity. honestly in that smallll smalll amount to a gallon of nutes. my plant rests about 4 inches away from glass with a 270 inside. the last plants i grew barely reacted to 1/6 a tsp of the stuff. ive gotten burning at doseages of around 3/4-1 tsp, however. one thing to reinforce that its the Gravity burning them, the "affected" leaves are all within about 8 inches from the glass. none exist underneath this increment. FUCKING A, and gravity doesnt easily just rinse out. it even says on the bottle to raise the lights. i just thought, for some stupid reason, that if i applied at a tiiiiiiny dosage id be ok. well anyways, i removed the rubermaid the plant sat on, so now the plant is about a foot and a half away from the glass. i gaurentee the problem (burning) will cease. it will almost be interesting to see how the plant will develop now, with gravity in its system, and the light so far away. im still pissed about the fucked up leaves......really pissed |

What other nutes do you use besides gravity?
If it was just this one bad dose of gravity(if it is that), the plant may recover. |

just an update on my Gravity nightmare.
i moved the plant off the rubermaid yesterday. well all today it has been fine. the burning stopped in its tracks once the plant was moved so far away from where it initially was by the light. this is strong evidence not the fuck with this stuff lightly. it does warn you to decrease nutes and raise lights. i think even more highly, than i originally did of this shit. it is a powerful chemical(s) that regulates the surge of nutrients to budsights. supposively makes the plants absorb nutrients at a muchhhh faster rate. when used in the right timing and DOSAGE LOL, you can pretty dramatically increase cola size. my last run i turned a real fluff haze into a nice density one. def added a couple zips to my final. if anyone else knows some good shit, pointers, or mechanisms about this product post it up |

Yo Buddin
Hopefully your plants recover and not much is damaged. Just to chime in a little, I've been using Gravity for about 4 years now and never had one problem with it. It does say on the label to cut back on your nutes to about 1/3 of what you normally use, could this be the source of your problem? I always only used 1/2 tsp of the stuff and reduced my regular nutes down to a 1/4 of what I use normally. If I dont see any burning I go up to 1/2 strength nutes. Using this method I have never had any problems with Gravity. |

also, with gravity - you will not be able to re-use your medium... (assuming you are using dirt/coco/hydroton)... it causes serious growth stunts... gravity, and bushmaster have to be seriously used with caution...
but they do cause the plants to rock up and get super dense... so its a trade off i guess.
