California Question

Need some help from the experts on California laws.

If a small group of people say 3-4 wanted to get together and pool their resources on a med garden do they have to form an actual collective? Is there any number of people that need to be involved before lots of paper work is involved?

For some reason I felt like over 4 people doing a garden in one spot had to do something. I have no idea where that thought comes from though and I have a feeling is completely my imagination. If it is possible please site your sources. I've been cruising around here and Ca's Norml and can't find the definitive answer I'm looking for.

I know a couple of people that want to get together and do this. They have been asking me all sorts of questions that I don't have a clue about. I figured I'd start with this one and depending on the answers I get I may have a few more.

Thanks in advance

No definite answers perhaps, because each county in Cal mandates their own regulations for the 215 program!!!

I am not sure thats why, but shooting from the hip, it sounds about right?!?!?

I guess I should add a few more details. They reside in a county that would fall under the Attorney Generals guidelines. 6 mature/12 immature. The four of them would like to build a garden that would hold 24 mature possibly up to 48 immature. They are very adamant about operating within the med laws. They came to me to ask if this type of thing was ok to do. It was my understanding it was, but I really have no idea.

Thanks for the input Sportster

Well I don't have sources on hand but two others and myself share a garden and we have copies of our rec's up. I wouldn't think you would need to file articles of incorporation with only three people. Especially if there is no diversion of medicine to unauthorized users it seems it would be hard to get leo interested in that garden, imho

Cheers
