as you say, there are peeps out there chargin much less then your gonna find in a shop.

private co-op here is 50 a 1/4 delivered to those close. you cant hardly get a sack of swag for that.

I just phoned the guy at Grateful Meds in Nederland and they claim to be Colorado's sole distributors of Subcool's beans. This couldn't be, so I phoned my pal at In Harmony Wellness and confirmed someone is pulling the grateful guy's beard on the 'exclusive distributor' part.

So I take it he's reporting everyone left and right. I can see that, if he's the same troll that was banned, which at this point is pretty obvious. Morons that do that stuff don't think to change posting styles and stuff like that, go to peoples threads they talked to as their former self, jump up and defend the previous troll, etc. It's really funny. He claims to know the guy from another site. Super transparent.

JJ, isn't ban-dodging an offense here on IC?

Anyhow, to the thread at hand, clonedoc, that sucks man, I can't believe that dispensary is trying to pull that. Just lost any potential business from me, thats for sure. I don't have time for a frickin class when I need meds, wtf?

Usually if they haven't done something security related to get banned, and they start a new name, we give them a chance. But if they jump right into their old habits they won't last as long......

Green Mountain Care

Went in today to get my MMJ card, no records. Opted not to be a member, as I do enjoy to grow myself.

Showed up at 11:45, signed in, got my paperwork finished, and had a preconsultation with...damn, forgot her name, haha (mike's wife?). Finished that up, went and saw the doctor, and had my paperwork signed off on. After leaving that room, went into the dispensary part and the big guy behind the desk hooked me up...I was initially planning on buying just a single gram of widow, but he ended up giving me 3 grams of a primo Mendo Purp for the price of 1 gram, since it was the bottom of the bag and I told him I was from ICMag.

Overall, GREAT experience. The atmosphere is a very private, lounge area. Felt like I was sitting in a friend's living room, comfortable couches, plenty of reading material if you're bored, and the staff is super friendly. Took approx 2 hours from start to finish, 11:45 - 1:40, so make sure you prepare yourself enough time.

BTW, the Mendo purp is a GREAT strain!

Great review dc2bar! It's nice to know that there are compassionate doctors associated with a place like Green Mountain Care. They seem pretty damn awesome from what I hear, nice to know I can send people there with little to no documentation. I have many friends that suffer from various afflictions but choose to use alternative therapies instead of going to the doctor and getting pharmaceuticals for them, resulting in no medical history on paper. I also think thats cool that they hook up a little extra for tellin' em you heard it at IC! Props to Mike and the folks at GMC!

I so wish Mike was there when I visited cause I got a totally different feel for Green Mountain Care then is reported here by some. Darnit! I wanted to love this place so badly.

The shop's easy to get to and has a spacious waiting area, reading material, and comfy couches like already stated. Right next to a family dentistry practice, so imagine that same kind of layout.

From the start, I felt very uncomfortable cause the big shifty and foreboding hombre with the tear tattoo kept eyeing me up and down as if he was expecting who knows what. Even after I sat down with the other big hombre, the tear dude still kept watch through a little side window. WOW what a different vibe than anywhere I've been.

The bud selection and variety is astounding, I opened and inspected about 15-20 jars. Picked a few nice smelling grams of this and that. Decent quality, but I expected more for the high prices. These were in fact the highest prices I've ever seen anywhere hands down; as I've been to several dispensaries and have yet to see any gram over $20, and man oh man, I've seen some INCREDIBLE quality at the $20 range.

Most everything at Green Mountain Care was $22-$30 per gram. There were a few low budget strains, but I'm looking for the best of the best when I visit a shop. The AK was a decent representation of what we all know and love, but inferior to many in the area. Good White Rhino, but the "Kali Mist" was just OK, as I was expecting a kick-ass sativa, and have no idea how all that indica got in there once I tasted it. Also, the Kali didn't burn or taste well and left a tar-black ash. It did get me very medicated tho I must say.

I think Mike and company will do well because of their doctor services, as we all keep hearing good things, but as new patients begin to branch out and check out other med shops, I think it's gonna be tough for Green Mountain Care to keep many return customers at those prices.

Oh and the guy was nice enough to give me a joint on my way out. Later I lit it, hit it... only to hack up a lung. I unrolled it and there was nothing but dry trim leaf!

thanks for the report sweetbog. i will try to make it down there this week and add my 2 cents as well. the prices do seem steep but if it's fire then it would be worth it. I'll make sure mike is going to be there before i go. did you get a free 1/2 gram?
i also have highland health on my to-do list.

hey clonedoctor420, I mentioned ICMag, so the guy gave me member prices and that joint (now scattered throughout the state of Colorado). Saved a few bucks, so that was cool. Good idea on calling first and catching Mike when you visit. I hope your experience is better and look forward to hearing about it.

just because someone has a "ive killed someone" tattoo doesnt make them bad people! hahahahaha..............

The tear tattoo used to mean different things, and only in the last decade or so has it come to mean "I've killed someone". Used to be meant for losing someone you care about, too, and depending on the drawing of the tear, you'd be able to tell if the freind died of natural causes, something accidental, or murder. If murder, there was a different tear drawing for whether or not the death was avenged. Now it's all the same tear drawing people get and many get it just to look cool.

Sorry if it came off lke I was placing judgement just by a tattoo. I just wanted to describe my experience.

I was at Green Mountain Care a few weeks ago and got some Cheese cause it smelled good. It wasn't the real cheese, but it got me baked. Lots of jars, some look like good genetics, but kinda beat-up looking. Wierd that I thought I was gonna get buds from the same smaller jars I was checking out, but when I asked for the Cheese, the guy pulled it out of another jar from the cabinet behind him. It didn't smell as fresh, but looked just like the other stuff I saw in the smaller jar.

I recently acquired a canna-carmel from CannaMart, for one of my patients who has children and can't smoke. She said it was great! It relieved her nerve pain and allowed her a good nights sleep. I will be getting more for her.
(as long as they find a new loc.) Looks like their gonna have to move.
