throw raves because you have no fucking idea what your doing lots of lights lots of carbon and a dentist to wire your jaw shut

LOL make sure you come back and eat your crow big boy

Bad news: forgot the camera and didnt get all my tasks accomplished today

Good news, I did take some shots from the phone and have to go back to take finish up, so hopefully I can remember the camera

Heres the moms in E&F buckets. They are still suffering from transplant shock. They really took it on the chin in the move but they are all coming back. The tables are double decker. The bottom is for vegging clones under T5's. The top is fluros for cloning.
picture.php

Heres the reses for the tables
picture.php

Heres one room. 24 600w all air cooled
picture.php

The pictures blow since they are from a phone. I tried different angles but didnt have enough light. I tried taking a shot of the electrical but it was too dark for the phone. I will try to remember the camera tomorrow

If any of this sounds/looks familiar, please keep it to yourself. This is not my first rodeo and I do have another screenname. I chose to use a new name to highlight my new venture and will start a new thread when I have better pictures. If anyone starts to say this is probably so and so and/or link this name to my other name, I will remove pics, and ask admin to delete the thread

honestly, I am just stirring the pot, having a little fun. I know so many of these threads go nowhere. I have seen a bunch of them.

Your pics show you know what you're doing, and have resources and all...
But was it purely for fun that you came emulating the many Threads of this nature that are just kids spouting their ideas and mouths?? Gon't get me wrong, I thought it was kinda funny...but it does sting a li'l to know ya been played into saying things...that you knew you could back up--
Good game--:dueling:

Now...let's get to the real issue...and hear more about this grow!!:yeahthats

LOL

I simply asked what others would do. I didnt ask what I should do or ask for advice. Then people just ASSUME because I have very few posts, that I am some newb. OK, but then the negativity starts and that just goes to show peoples nature. Like I should have my jaw wired shut?

I think its a lesson in maybe you should not assume?

:D

I hope no feelings were hurt and those that talked shit, admit they were wrong. :D

Moms are under 3,000 MH. 6 4 foot fluros for clones, 6 6 bulb 4 foot T5's for vegging.

Flowering is 24 air cooled 600 HPS over 8 4x8 E&F tables. 2 12" can fan max provide air flow and boy do they flow. The second room is built, but no equipment installed yet. Should be a couple weeks away.

Flowering is 10 days in. No even canopy as I took clones from various sources, and vegged some longer etc. Basically this run is just to get something out ASAP and pay the bank back :)

Co2 is provided by a hydrogen generator and CHHC-1. Still sealing all the hoods, and ducting so Co2 has been turned off. Had major leaks

A/C is central A/C

Filtration can 150 recycling with 12" can fan max, but the fan is busted so a replacement is on the way.

I am in the middle of another harvest elsewhere so hopefully I can get those ducts and hoods sealed, trim, and post pics soon. But this should suffice for now. I will start another thread when I have better pics.

Again, hope nobody got hurt when I pulled your chain a little. Hopefully, I'll make it worth your while :D

Not too shabby my man. Where did you get the rez's? how many gallons do they hold? How much do they cost? Why are the lights so close together? How did you get the HVAC without a license or buisness account? What are you using for a/c cooling? MAIN QUESTION.. how do you get around having the fire dept or the city come in and do annual check ups and make sure everything is up to code? Great room man.

Thanks JustBlazed, sorry no clowns though :D

Reses are used for shipping chemicals, liquids, etc. They can be found in local papers, craigslist etc. They are 250 or 275 gallons. I used a meter and measured 100/150/200 gallon marks on each one. about a hundred bucks each

The lights are spaced evenly 3 over a 4x8 table. All the tables push together for one large canopy

You wouldnt need anything to get the HVAC except money. However, this unit was already installed.

A/C cooling? dont understand?

We own this building. I called up before we closed and asked the city, "hey we are buying a building at 123 main street, do we need to schedule any appointments or inspection? We are using the building for storage and personal use, no business" The city said, no inspections until you decide to open a business

So what happens if you get contacted by someone saying you are using a lot of electricity considering there is no busienss there? You gonna tell'em you run gaming servers or whatever? Would they then require you to get a business license? I guess you could say you dont use the servers for a business, but you'd think they would think you're nuts usign all of that electricity and not making a profit. Guess you could say peopel donate money to you so you can keep the servers running?

Thx for the feedback EM,

Did you have to clean out the rez's your self? if so, how? the access ports look small unless the lids come off or something.
You only paid 100bucks for them? seems like a helluva deal, but i guess it depends if they were used or not.

I thought u needed a license to buy commercial hvac equip?

I was asking what size a/c unit you use to cool that place? Your saying the one that was there is enough to keep that whole place cool with all that wattage? On second note, those ceilings are pretty tall so thats a pretty big buffer area for temps i guess, so you have some leadway. Am i right?

Your cooling 24 600's with a 12inch fan? It would be cool if you could make a diagram of how your light cooling is set up, including duct sizes and fan sizes. I see how its laid out, but i dont know what size duct you have or where the fans are, whether they pull or push or both, and like where you exhaust to etc.... I REALLY WANT THOSE REZ'S!!!

IMPORTANT QUESTION.. Where on earth did you find a meter that measures how many gallons are in a rez at a time? I could reallllllllllllllly use one of these!!

Actually the electric account is a commercial plan, just under someones name. If under a business, you would need a EIN (basically a social # for a business). Its no big deal, I have done my homework. Our plan is for companies using up to 30Kw Hours. we will be around 15, half.

The reses were clean, but I do believe there was some chemicals residue, so I rinsed them out and let them soak for a few days. BTW pressure cleaning people and people in rural areas seem to to use these alot. 2 of them have small openings and I had to cut them open. The rest had openings big enough to put a eco-plus 2250GPH pump in with hose attached. May be an issue if we have to scrub them. On the other hand we can pressure clean them easily with no spray coming out.

HVAC. Yeah maybe to buy stuff. I didnt understand. If I needed to install another A/C, I would go with the Excel units. But I did buy my ducting from a HVAC distributor w/o any issue. Theres always one in an area who doesnt care. Its not a law, just common courtesy to the trade.

The existing A/C is used for one flower room only. The second is getting a wall banger. Hope it works. I believe the central unit is 3 tons, and with all lights running, and fans going, the room easily stays at 75. Hell I can get it lower. So I think the banger being 12K Btu less, will keep the room at 85 with Co2. The Co2 is provided by a hydrogen so hopefully it wont create alot of heat

I dont have a diagram handy. But I use 2 12" fans. I took some pics, check out my album or wait for the new thread. There are 2 rows of tables. I have a 16" intake that goes down the middle of the room, between the tables. (its really not in the middle as the tables get pushed into a corner). Then 2 12" ducts on the opposite side. Fresh air comes in through the 16", then out each side to the 12". Each fan is rated at 1700 CFM

The fans suck air, not blow. Currently, with all the hood leaks I have, the fans pull so hard, they pull the room door closed, when its cracked 2-3 inches. Currently sealing all those hoods, ducts, etc. Huge PITA with plants in the room.

The meter doesnt tell me how much is in the res. But it attaches to a hose, then you can tell how much water you put into the res. Heres a link or google "hose meter". http://www.bizrate.com/watergarden_irrigationsupplies/products__keyword--hose+water+meter.html

Thats not actually what I use, but same concept. Actually mine just measures, and wont stop flow at a given point. So you have to keep checking. Anyway, you just fill, measure. them mark the rez.

I uploaded a bunch of pics, but it took forever, and its time to watch TV. So look through the album, and I'll try to start a new thread soon.

I like you did with the place! Is the whole building being used or do have a section walled up w 2 rooms? I been playing with flip boxes and timers n figured out how to run 40 hoods off 10 ballasts (16 off 4 for now) flipping internally in each room every 2 hours in a zigzag hood pattern to flip between rooms every 12 hours. Half the power and cooling expense. I have a thread that I'm running 8 hoods off 4 ballasts in the same room and getting similar results as having all 8 running at once. if you have more space, but might be short on power or cooling, you can always breakout another 2 rooms on the same amperage!
Just something I'm doing that when you asked "what would you do with this size space, I thought I'd share with everyone. definately CEA, I would most likely run long NFT gullies. Those reses your using are used for bottling nutrient too! I seen 1 on a forklift upside down with a big locking valve to a drum pump in a nutrient bottling plant a while back. Thought it was so funny how rigged everything was for all the money their products make them. Anyway, thanks for showin it off!

I'm impressed great job I would like some pics of the tables I've always wanted to be able to roll them together but couldn't with the plastic stands I built and let me rephase that first statement I'm very very impressed

we may play with that idea on the lights. My partners are shitting bricks over the electric. I will discuss that with them. We dont have anymore room, but we may be able to use that design to lower the existing bill. And we already have all the ballasts, so we could do it with timers and contactors. Flip/flops/ PLC's etc are way above their head.

we pretty much used all the warehouse, between the two flower rooms, veg room, then drying room. Theres walkways, work areas, but no more space to add rooms. then there is an office area, that will be used for trimming.

Stoney. Thanks for the compliments. I know your SOG grow so I know you can appreciate the time and work put into this. I posted some pics of the wheels in the other thread.. Tables built from wood, and pond liner, and wheels on the bottom. I had to build tables for the trays anyway, so I figured it was just cheaper and easier to use pond liner. 900$ of pondliner will do 19 tables, 3 cloning areas, plus have left over.

ANy more questions should be asked in the new thread

If you need a flip, let me know. I don't mess with crappy ones. I carry 2, 4, 8, & 20 ballast fliips that are fully expandable/piggybackable for any config. Of lighting.
Power sucks to pay so much for. I ran a 26,800 watt setup and $7000 bills are no joke on the first crop. Anyway, can't wait to see this new thread!
