What is your smoke of choice?

For listening to music.
My smoke of choice is a little woody plant called lifestar
bogs creation and i only have one mother i'm cloning
and smoking. Father is a bad ass Sensi Star and the mom
a Bogslifesavers. Has the blueberry look on a very short
plant, really woody growth pattern on the mom, but seems
ok if only slight on the clones. I guess i got the creative side
of sensi star and the creative side of lifesaver and something
very special happend. Makes Music come alive like never before.

But California Orange is hard to beat as is Purple haze x skunk.

I used to love both, but now I have to stay with mostly indica plants cause the sativas make me panicky. I can take them in small doses but thats about it. I miss smoking the C99 all day. Jack Herer was always one of my favorite daytime smokes too. I'd still smoke that if it were around. It will be in the garden again soon though. I love those stuck to the couch indicas too.

Gonzo2012- You could grow some sativas whenever you want. All you gotta do is go to Seeds Direct or Heaven's Stairway etc. and order some seeds. Seed shipping is super stealthy so there's nothing to worry about there. Seeds Direct has Nirvana strains for $15 too, so there very affordable.

seems like a lot of sativa fans out there , personally i like a 50 /50 first up , so i can ease into a pure indica , or the strongest thing i have going at the time , dont mind if i lace it with a bit of bubble hash , i like to get right stoned and then take the day as it comes , kinda more exciting that way ..... well some days dont happen much .. . lol ... but when they do you should see the sparks flyin ...

I harvested some NL#5...when I smoke it either in a pipe, bong or joint my eyes turn mega red...bloodshot

This have never happened to be with anyother strain

what gives? any ideas or thoughts

From your shock, I would guess you're past the stage where bloodshot eyes are a normal consequence of potsmoking. I'm like that too. I have to have taken a lloooong break and have my tolerance almost back down to virgin-level for me to get red-eyed.

Maybe you've found a mutant that makes either a lot of, or an especially effective combination of the cannabinoid or cannabinoids that reduce intra-ocular pressure. It would be an especially good variety for glaucoma patients, or people like me that just have ocular hypertension. I REALLY hope you've saved a clone or two.

Hmmmm....., I like the 60/40 split if I had to choose only one. But it has to have a nice body, not one where you fall asleep, but where it does relax you to a good point. I like some cerebral in it. More like a euphoria type of high. Where if you want to dream, listen to music, or meditate it's there in harmony. Though I enjoy many different flavors, I love my smoke to have a sweet berry hash flavor, it's just an added bonus. But no matter what, it must be a smoke where tolerance is hard to build up. Though I have found plenty of smoke to fit this, I'm still searching for that one with height. One where each puff gets you higher and higher and higher, with no end, lol.

I like sativa -but it takes sooooo damn long to finish-my mostly indicas are almost done -my more sativa pheno is close as well -but the pure sativa is still not even fluffy yet after 6 weeks(she is already over 5 feet tallwith inter-nodal lenths of less then an inch) -so outdoors she goes and I will give 4 of her clones a shot.

I think the ideal for me is sativa dominant...never had a fully blown sativa.

Sativa is a big mindphuck, IMO.
Back when I was a kid, all we had to smoke was mex and sa sativas. Everything we had to smoke was racy and would almost always bring about paranoia at some level. There was no such thing as 'couch lock' weed available until maybe the early 80's. Of course when affy and others started coming around, folks were mad for it. I remember everyone feeling like the weed that makes you sleepy and slow did so because it was much stronger than the regular weeds were used to. When the fact was it was simply weed with different genetic and chemical makeup.
We didn't know CBN's from quaaludes.

Knowing and growing what I do today, I find that a sat dom plant gives me what I like. I really, really love to burn racy haze, and will strive to have some around at all times, but I also love the relaxing aspect that some ind can bring into the mix. It's all a relative thing...but for me an 80sat/20ind mix is just about right for everyday weed.
Having the haze around is great when it's party time, and some heavy indica around when a wind down time is near. And even better to have some of my favorite mix around to hoard for myself at any time of day!

How can anyone do better than having a stash of all there is to offer?

I know I'm rambling now...but I am stoked on some of Sams haze at the moment, so bear with me....

I turned a buddy of mine on to a pure haze bud the other day. He too had never smoked any real haze that he knew of.
He was unimpressed to say the least. He was trying to not hurt my feelings and acted like the weed was "ok"...but he asked about that other stuff I had.
And I knew he didn't think the herb was too good at all.
I know for a fact it is top shelf sativa...but..for some reason...he didn't get real high...or at least what he would probably consider high, which is the couch lock thing.
It reminded me of the person that smokes herb for the first time and claim they didn't get high...that has always been a mystery to me, cause my first time I was tore up like a can of kraut after about three pulls.
