i drive a truck ,i stopped in a truckstop and they sold high times so i buy one ,i dropped the ad /subscription thing in the truck ,i get home ,i wash the truck clean it out ,but i missed the ad,my boss finds it ,he wont call me back and when i call i get the cold shoulder,normal for me i guess ,i wish i could break this bad luck

I'm not sure how your employment agreement was set up but that would definitely fall under wrongful termination. That's not something you can be fired for, and you shouldn't let this go.

I used to help run a logistics (trucking) company. From my perspective, it had to have been more than that. Over the road truckers are in high demand and I wouldn't think they would just stop giving you work based solely on a HT subscription card.

its hard where i live ,things are pretty bad ,i need work ,i am good at what i do ,thing is ,they expect me to break federal laws every day cheating on my log book ,going around scales,and so on ,but dont break my law if you want to work

How do you know your boss found the subscription card if he won't call you back? Did he come right out and say that he found something or are you assuming that's what happened?

Our truckers wanted to cheat on their log books. It meant more money for them.

An OTR driver is a double edged sword. You can make tons of money, but you can never really enjoy it. And those that want to enjoy it don't last because they don't want to work as much as the company wants them to.

dude ,a normal work week for you is 40 hrs ,a driver has 70 ,then he beguins to cheat because ,the co does not want high idel time on the truck it money out the pipe wasted in there mind ,then you got a dispatcher who gets payed on miles dispatched and this all leads to burn out ,my last run took 5 days a sleep 4 hrs every 18 because his truck was broken would only run 45 - 55 mph ,but i got it there on time

I'm just telling you how it was for us. Our best drivers were the ones who loved to make money. With fuel, insurance, & driver expenses being so high, money makers were our top priority.

How long have you been at home? It's possible they just don't have enough work. Things are tough right now, they're tough all over.
